Bob Loves His Tractor

Hello High Hopes Fans

I am SUPER excited to share one of my cards, using one of the stamps and sentiment from the new release--All About Boys.
Jane

This is Bob Loves His Tractor (U508), and sentiment from Sentiment Set #3 (U506).  What a cool dude on his John Deere, with a Pioneer hat on!!!

This was a fun image to colour and card to design, after working around a lot of farm equipment this Spring!  I coloured this image with Tombow Markers and water. Some Glossy Accents were used on the headlights and Bob's sunglasses.  In my stash, I found some John Deere Rub-Ons and decided to use pieces of them for the John Deere emblem on the hood of the tractor, and name on the side of it.  They seemed to be just about the perfect size.  After that, I cut up one of my hubby's business cards for the Pioneer Logo on Bob's hat! LOL--who would have thought to use a piece of a business card on a greeting card?!?!? But again, this seemed to be about the right size!  The cornstalk die is from MFT. Some light beige ink was applied to the top of the stalk to resemble a realistic cornstalk.  The sentiment was embossed with green embossing powder, and some yellow dots were added around the scalloped oval.  To complete this card, a JD brad was added to the top left corner.
