Gabriel Loves Baseball

Hello High Hopes Fans

I am thrilled to share another one of my cards, using one of the stamps and sentiment from the new release--All About Boys!

This is Gabriel Loves Baseball (S524), and sentiment from Sentiment Set #3 (U506).  This stamp is super adorable!!!  I think Gabriel should get a home run after hitting that ball!!! lol!

I coloured Gabriel with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added a baseball brad from my stash (not sure where I purchased them).  Some grey ink was lightly sponged on the ground to help resemble some gravel at the baseball diamond. The image was cut out using Spellbinders rectangle dies.  For the designer paper, the piece used on the left side was ripped and matched up to the other designer paper on the right side.  The sentiment was embossed with black embossing powder and die cut using a Spellbinder die called petite ovals (small die for the sentiment & larger die for layering the sentiment).  I applied some Ranger Firefly Stickles on the stars of the sentiment, after they were coloured with the Tombow markers.  The sentiment and image was placed on the card with foam tape.  This helped to add some dimension to this card.  To complete this design, a bunch of Hero Arts - crystal gemstones were added to the sides and bottom of the card, as well as, some grey and green twine.
