Willy One Eye

Howdy  - MichelleO here today and I am still pulling out Fall images from my wonderful collection of High Hopes Stamps. I don't really do many monster cards... but felt Willy One Eye was one I needed to do.

Willy One Eye is a funny little monster -

I colored up Willy with my copics (colors below). I found some papers from KaiserCraft's Bluebelle collection that I matched up with core'dinations cardstock that I sanded. A bit of zig zag stitching to hold it all together.

The image matches up perfect with the sentiment "I've got my eye on you!". Then three black buttons to match.

Copic colors used -

A bit different card for me, but it did make me chuckle doing it.

Turkey Crossing!

Hi HH Fans!
It's my last post for the August Challenge/ Theme "Fall & Halloween"! I fell in love with this guy, what a turkey he is (pun intended LOL). This stamp is called "Turkey Getaway".
I'm using papers from the Doodlebug Happy Harvest 6x6 collection. The colours are so rich and the patterns so fun! I used the YNS Fishtail Flag Border and then added cut out letters to make my "Turkey Xing" banner. The sentiment "Poultry in Motion" is also from High Hopes Stamps and goes perfectly with this Turkey! A bit of twine and some twine bows finished off my card.
Here's the inside decorated and waiting for you to sign it!
Copics Used:
Turkey: E11, E13, E15/ Y32, Y35, Y38/ R22, R24, R27
Tail: E16, E18/ E00, E11/ E11, E15, E17/ E19

Pumpkin Patch

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

TGIF!!!  As summer nears the end, the air starts to feel a bit more crisp and harvest season is near.  I am excited to share another fall card with you today.
 Jane

This is Pumpkin Patch (S152).  I just love the country appeal this stamp has!

To start, I used a piece of watercolour paper and a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  To colour the main image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  After the colouring was finished and dry, Glossy Accents were added on the lettering of the sign and on the crow's beak and heart.

For the card base, I decided on a piece of SU Always Artichoke cardstock and the layering piece is SU Kraft cardstock.  The designer paper is from Simple Stories-Take A Hike 6x6 Paper Pad.  A sponge dauber with a SU Chocolate Chip Ink Pad was used to sponge ink around the edge of the image and layering piece, to give the card a more country/rustic look.  Foam tape was applied to the main image to help make it pop out a bit and add some dimension.  To complete this card, some strips of twine with a bow was added, along with a few sparkling clear sequins.

Supplies Used:
***Note: If you are in need of any products used here, please send Lora at OCS an email and I'm sure she would be happy to get the item(s) you are looking for.

Ink - Tombow Markers - 055, 985, 925, 933, 126, 195, 245, 847, 905, 969, 977, 947 and N45; Versamark Ink Pad, Black Embossing Powder, SU Chocolate Chip Ink Pad for sponging edges.

Paper - Simple Stories-Take A Hike 6x6 Paper Pad, SU Always Artichoke & Kraft Cardstock;  Watercolour paper.

Thanks for stopping by!  And I hope you come back to visit soon!!!

Country Harvest!

 Happy Tuesday!
We are still celebrating a Fall/ Halloween theme over on the High Hopes Blog. Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the "Country Harvest" stamp!
I love the little Fall theme of this stamp and it was so fun to colour! I added some brown mesh type ribbon, a leafy flourish and some flowers to finish off my card. In the middle of the flowers I used some YNS gumdrops. I also added Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen to the apples and pumpkins.
The little wooden sign comes blank and I added the "Fall" using a stamp from my stash. The Hello is die cut from some MFT cork sheets. I cut out two and glued them together for added dimension.
Here you can see the popped up dimensions to my card.
