Snow Couple Block

Howdy - MichelleO here today and this week for High Hopes Stamps I got ahead on a few Christmas Gift Tags with a folding notecard. Using Snow Couple Block I colored with my Copics

I love making these little gift note cards - personal touch on a gift. And there are a few more of these great blocks to make an assortment of little cards for your Christmas packages. I colored with Copics, then added some scraps of paper in light blue and red on a white card stock base.  A little Viva Decor Glitter pen and then the High Hopes Sentiment "Think Snow"

Hot Chocolate Season

We have had a couple blasts of winter where I live. You know....the cold biting wind and yes even lots of snow. So far it has melted away the next day but it is a reminder that winter is just around the corner.

This also means that hot chocolate and marshmallow season is already here. There is nothing like putting on a sweater and curling up under a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows. Bear-ly Warming Up from High Hopes has it right from what I can see.......

I decided to make Bear-ly Warming Up into a little gift package. I found a super easy to follow tutorial for this on the This Is Me Playing With Paper blog and made my single sided gift box. Then after colouring up this cutie I hand fussy cut him and added some sparkly Stickles to his mug. I made the sentiment using my computer printed it off and voila! Some ribbon and a few sparkly gumdrops finish off my gift.
If you're looking for me....I will be curled up under a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate <wink>

Card Recipe

Snowy's Cup!

Hi High Hope Fans!
It's Tuesday so that means you can find me over on the High Hopes Blog sharing the cards I made. Today's cards feature the adorable "Snowy's Cup" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps!
I love this stamp because you can stamp a sentiment on the middle of the cup! I used the "Dot warm Winter Wishes" sentiment to do just that!

On the inside I used the "Dot Snowman Melts" sentiment!

My paper is from the Doodlebug Polar Pals 6x6 collection, an oldie but still one of my favourite paper collections! I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut around my image and then popped it up with foam squares for added dimension. I struggled with this layout, I wanted to add more of something but couldn't decide what! Then my mom appeared in my ear saying "less is more" lol so I decided to just leave it like it is! Sometimes Mom is right LOL!

It's hard to see but there is Glossy accents on the nose and buttons, and Spectrum Noir Glitter pen on the purple areas and the red stripes of the candy cane.

Copics Used:
C1, C6, C8, YR04, R24, R27, R29
V12, V15, V17, B23, B26, BG10, BG11, BG13, BG18

Tall Country Snowman!

Hello and Welcome!
Thanks for stopping by today! I love snowmen and this "Tall Country Snowman" from High Hopes Stamps is one of my favourites! I love the country feel to him and the larger size makes a nice tall card as seen below!
I stamped my image onto Copic XPress-it paper and coloured it in with my Copic Sketch Markers. Then using a FishTail Flag die I cut him out! I decided to use papers from the Echo Park I Love Winter 6x6 collection! It's hard to see in the picture but there is Spectrum Noir Glitter pen added to the checkered parts and stars on the image.  I used the HH "Brr" sentiment on the front.
Here's the inside of my card using the HH " Work of Art" sentiment.
Copics Used:
R22, R24, R27, R29
B000, B52, B93, B95, B97

Let Us Adore Him!

Hello everyone,
Today I'm sharing a special Christmas card
I made using this adorable image from High Hopes Stamps

The adorable image on my cad is "Let Us Adore Him"
Such a darling image from High Hopes Stamps. I Absolutely love it!

I stamped it with Black Archival ink and used once again my Prismacolor pencils. Then I cut the image out did some distress ink around and added all those wonderful embellishments from my stash. The pattern paper I'm using is from different companies.

To finish I stamped a sentiment called "Peace, Love, Joy" from HHS. Once again cut it using with a couple spellbinder circles and adhesive in the right corner of my card.

Believe!

As I child I always wondered what it would be like to be able to fly like one of Santa's reindeer. We went to Santa's Village in Bracebridge and I was fascinated by this place - it was all things Christmas year round.

It even had live reindeer and I always wondered if one of them worked for Santa! Our friend Rodney Reindeer is dreaming of the day he is big enough to help pull Santa's sleigh......but first he has to grow a little.....and then he has to Believe in the Magic......<wink>

I started my A2 size card by stamping Rodney Reindeer, colouring him with alchohol markers and fussy cutting him with cuticle scissors. I added him to patterned paper from an older Bo Bunny collection. The sentiment was stamped and cut out using a fish tail banner die and I stamped a santa and sleigh from another stamp set above Rodney's head. It's hard to see on the photo but the rings on his harness are coloured with a Sterling Silver Sparkle Pen. A matching holly die, ribbon and gumdrops finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Rodney Reindeer - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Believe - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: White Out - Bo Bunny
Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Misti, brown marker, Sterling silver Spectrum Sparkle pen,  3D foam pop dots - Forever In Time, Cotton Candy Blue gumdrops - YNS, fishtail banner die - YNS, Christmas Branch Die - Whimsy Stamps

Spectrum Noir Markers: BG5 BG7 BG10 TN1 EB1 EB2 IG2 IG3 IG5 TN4 TN6 TN7

Amanda with Warm Winter Wishes

Howdy - MichelleO here today - and I would like to have you meet "Amanda", isn't she so pretty in her winter coat, hat and scarf?

Right now that heavy coat and winter wear is not necessary here in Texas. Finally it is getting cooler again. We were excited a few weeks ago with a nice early cool front. Then Texas heat came back! It was nearly 90 here this week. But now the fronts are coming in again and off goes the air conditioning, and out come the winter clothes! Love matching coat, hat, scarf and gloves!

I colored with my Copics, and found some pattern papers from Authentique's Bundle collection to match with my coloring. An older Martha Stewart border and corner punch with some sewing to layer it all together. Three red buttons in the corner and the sentiment "Warm Winter Wishes" from High Hopes to finish it off.

Great image for a note card to send to a friend.

Copic colors used -
