Today I am sharing a fun card that is Halloween themed but in some non-traditional Halloween colours. I'm not sure what this card style is called but it is a fun fold and the stamped image slides up or down the card and is removed to reveal the inside. The "Boo Family In Frame" and the "Boo-tiful Day" sentiment fit perfectly on to the "slider".

Free Broom Rides
Howdy - MichelleO here today -
Fall is coming!! Time to get a few Halloween Cards made. High Hopes Stamps has some adorable fun friends to color up for you projects. This image is "Free Broom Rides" - Such a cute little witch!
Decided she was a bright fashionable witch so I matched up the Halloween papers from DCWV and went bold and colorful for her!
After coloring her I found my Nuvo Glitter paint pen and added some bling to her stars and to the broom. Why the broom? Well it has to have some magical features right?
All the layers are sewn down with both straight and zig zag stitches.
My sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps - "Happy Halloween Script"
Love that font!!
A few orange rhinestone brads to hold the tag punched sentiment.

Rudy's Happy Harvest
It is time for crops to be harvested and that means my daily commute usually includes a tractor or two. Crops are coming off the fields and the farmers are working hard to feed their families and animals. One of the places I drive by has a garden at the front of a corn field and for awhile they had a homemade scarecrow "standing" at the edge of the garden. It made me smile to see the aluminum pie plates blowing in the breeze and inspired my card featuring "Lg. On Guard Rudy" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. He is going to be happy to rest after the crops are off the fields and the produce is out of the garden!

Little Nutty Buddy
Howdy - MichelleO here today -
What a fun Fall image! This is from High Hopes Stamps "Little Nutty Buddy", So fun!
Colored with my Copics (colors below) - Then I went looking for Pattern papers, normally I do that first, but I got to coloring and then realized I needed papers. Digging deep in my stash I found some fall Prima Marketing papers. Wasn't sure about going with the green, but then I think it worked and wasn't too much brown. So all the layers are sewn down with straight and zig zag stitches.
The sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps "Bold Happy Harvest" - fun for the image and any card. I added some brown enamel dots for added fun.

Loving coloring the fall cards. Hoping that the weather starts to follow soon!! Pop over to the High Hopes Stamps web store HERE -

Hangin' With Friends
This week, I challenged myself to use a Halloween themed stamp for a card that isn't for Halloween. I have a few friends who love Halloween and I love hanging out with them so I decided to use the "Bat Friends" stamp from High Hopes Rubber Stamps for a just because, thinking of you type card that I can send to one of them.

Ryan & Ainsley
Howdy- MichelleO here today :0)
Common On Fall!! Ready for those cooler temps and pretty fall colors and flowers. So this week for High Hopes Stamps I colored up some fall with a cute little image "Ryan & Ainsley"
Adore these two sweet little mice. And love that the image can be colored for fall or for spring. Loving the fall right now. I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then decided to dig in my stash of older papers to find scraps of these Graphic 45 papers. I sewed all the layers down and then the image is given a little vintage look with some Ranger Tea Dye ink around the edges and black Copic around the edges for a faux mat look. The Sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps "Happy Fall Y'all!" I love the font on this one.
Then to add even more fall I added some mulberry sunflowers with Martha Stewart Leaves punches and button centers. Sunflowers are just so happy aren't they?

Giving away Free Broom Rides!
Happy Tuesday HH fans!
I'm popping in today to share our adorable Halloween image called Free Broom Rides. I'm sure I have mentioned this at least once or twice before...I love to colour Halloween images. Ya I know stop the repeat record...I just can't help myself lol.
I have the perfect person in mind to give this card to this year, I'm hoping she likes it.
I dug into my box of dies & grabbed all the Halloween ones. I have several that I have never used before. So I used a couple of Memory Box dies on this card - Haunted Web #99007 & Batty Border #98694. They maybe retired now but I'm sure you can find similar ones if you are in need.

With Love
Fall is just around the corner and the High Hopes design team will be celebrating all things fall this month. Fall is my favourite time of year. I love the cooler temperatures, the cozy sweaters and the colours. I'm not a huge apple lover but there is something about the first apple pie or apple crunch made with the fresh apples of the season that warms my insides. It is this first fresh apple pie of fall, usually enjoyed at Thanksgiving that inspired this weeks card featuring "Apple Pie Anyone" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

It's time for some mini snowmen!!
Happy Tuesday HH fans!!
I'm popping in today to share some minis.....featuring our Snowman Mini Set with our Four Paned Frame. I've had this idea in my mind for a while now. The set comes with two different frames but ya know sometimes you just have to go outside the box lol. I stamped & coloured the three snowmen then fussy cut them out. Cutting these little cuties out was super easy. I then stamped the Four Panel Frame & cute those out as well. When I cut out the frames I followed the un-uniform of the lines...don't know if I said that right but you get the idea. I coloured the edges &the inside of each frame. I glued my images down inside the frames.
I pulled out the old embossing folders & found my Swiss Dots folder. Gosh I used to use the a lot when I first got it...Swiss Dots on every card lol. It's been several years since then so the time arrived to dust it off & get it back in action. I think this 3" panel just makes the snowmen pop...what do you think?

Annie's Bushel
Howdy - MichelleO here today and it is time to start up those Fall cards! Common cooler Weather! Back to School and Halloween are all coming soon. For my card I pulled out Annie's Bushel - love the fall feel of this sweet image!
I found some papers from Graphic 45 in my stash - love the colors and went with them for this image's coloring with my Copics. (colors below) All the layers are sewn down with a Fiskar's border punch, tiny red brads as embellishments. Great Country feel -
The sentiment is also from High Hopes Stamps "If friends were apples" Makes a great sentiment to send a smile to a friend !
Copic colors used -
I've
colored this image in softer colors before and loved it. But I am
thinking these bold dark colors are fun too! That is the great thing
about this hobby... one image can be used so many ways!

Frightfully Delightful!!
Happy Sunday HH fans!
I'm popping in today to share this handsome dude named Frankie. Isn't he just a cutie?!
I decided to go way outside of the box today & create my own background using some watercolour paper & inks. It's not fancy but it did the trick, at least for me. I used Distress Ink Forest Moss & Memento London Fog for the background.
I used a couple of dies on this card - Memory Box Willow Tree #98695 & Frantic Stamper Bats & Ghost. Both of these have been in my stash forever so they might already be retired.
I stamped my sentiment Frightfully Delightful on Copic friendly paper & fussy cut them out. I used Copic YG00 & W2 to help them blend into the background a little better.
I fussy cut Frankie & while doing that I accidently cut the wire on the Treat Pot. So I used some green twine & created my own faux wire.

Happy Friday HH fans!!
I'm popping in today to share a Christmas card using Happy Mail. Who doesn't love something other than a bill in the mail...count me in on that!
I have this cutie coloured for a while now & decided it was time to use it. I can't count how many Christmas cards I still have to make this year.

Stirrin' some brew!!
Happy August HH fans!
I'm going to get this month started with one of my favourite things to colour.....a Halloween card. I absolutely love the colours for Halloween & this year I have several friends & co-workers to give cards to. So I will be blogging a few images this month using Halloween images. Let's go....!!
This adorable image is called Witchy Poo Stirrin' Brew and I paired her with a simple but sweet Happy Halloween sentiment.
I did some shading around the image & the Happy Halloween sentiment with my C1, C0 & C00 Copics. I just thought the stark white of the cardstock didn't really fit the idea I had in my head.
