Hello High Hopes Fans!
You can find the February Monthly Challenge here.
The challenge runs through Monday, March 2nd.
Today Kristine and Cheri are here to share their creations for your inspiration...
Today I am sharing a fun Flip-it card using Hedgy Has Flowers.
Here is the front when it is all folded up and ready to mail.
I colored the image with copic markers.
To create the texture on Hedgy's fur I dabbed Colorless Blender fluid on a piece of terry cloth and lay it on the image for 3-5 seconds after I colored it.
I used the Sizzix Bigz Rectangle Flip-it Card die for the card base.
The paper is We R Memory Keepers Simply Spring.
Sentiment is Open Thank You.
I don't see this flower in the store yet but Happy Single Flower would work just as well!
Now check out what my fellow DT member made for you!
Don't you think Zach and Ozzie are super adorable! I love the way they are sitting together! It looks like they are taking a break from exploring together. I can tell Ozzie is Zach's side kick and follows him wherever he goes!
For this project I made a 6" x 6" card and decorated it using paper from the Carta Bella collection called Rough and Tumble. Perfect paper for boy themed projects. I coloured up this image using my Copic Sketch markers. I had some paper in my "scrap" bin that I cut and layered with cardstock for the "boys will be boys" saying. Some red hemp string a few red enamel dots and my card was finished. I must admit that I always want to bling up my cards and find it hard not to with male themed cards. But I could just picture Zach saying "ewww yuck glitter is for girls" LOL.
Thanks for stopping by today and Kristine and I will see you next week!

Our Designer Dina has another project to share with you this week....
Boy or girl, birthday or everyday, "Beary Wishes" is the perfect way to send some smiles and great joy.
I painted this little Beary Wishes bear with watercolors in shades of aqua blue, violet and sand.
I
used DCWV Nana’s Nursery Baby Boy printed paper. I love this
collection. Everything coordinates perfectly! I afixed these precious
papers on a piece of Kraft cardstock.
I punched out a few stars and hearts, hand cut the banner flags from the same paper and finished it off with some natural twine.
Don't forget to join in on the challenge!!
