Handy Dragon - Jane

Hello High Hopes Fans

Did you see the new challenge?
The April Challenge can be found here.
It runs through 7pm EST Thursday, April 30th.

Jane

I'm just trying to get ahead on some cardmaking these days, before the beautiful weather finally arrives here!  For today's card, I used an older image called Handy Dragon (Q106), along with the Lg. Happy Father's Day Sentiment (H076).  The image was coloured with Distress Markers and a blender pen, as well as, with Twinkling H20's.  It's a bit difficult to see the shimmer in the picture, but it is there.  The embossing folder is called Diamond Plate.  I thought it looked appropriate for the fix-it kinda dad!  For an added touch, I used some screw brads on the wood-like background paper, and some smaller ones around the sentiment. I realize that Father's Day isn't until June, but it never hurts to have some cards ready ahead of time!!!
Supplies used

  1. Love this. The metal embossed plate and the screw brads are just perfect for this handy dragon. Fab. Hugz
