Swinging Sherry - Lacey

Hello High Hopes Fans!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
I wish you a very Safe and Happy New Year!!!

******
Lacey
Today I created a Thank you card for a friend. She loves to golf and we live in Florida so I paired these two stamps together to create a fun scene.
This is Swinging Sherry and Palm Tree S096.

I created a Zig Zag Card (or a Center Step Card). You can find a tutorial here created by Kristine.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os then cut out and attached to the card.

Thanks for stopping by!!
Happy stamping and I hope you have a very Happy New Year!!

Party Cow

Howdy - MichelleO here today - Hope you all had an amazing Christmas! Now we are all gearing up for the New Year - and I thought that High Hopes Party Cow was just perfect to end 2015 and bring in 2016!

"I've got the moosic in me!" Now that is a Party Cow!! I colored with my Copics and then found some perfect paper from Farm House Paper. Some older Bazzil Navy blue dotted swiss card stock and cream card stock just matched up well. I matted the cow with the dotted swiss card stock, and found an older Fiskars corner punch in my drawer to hold the cow in place. You know those Party Cows they will try and Mooooove around! (I know really bad huh?) While digging in my punch drawer I found a Fiskars punch with music notes... wow didn't remember I had that one and it was perfect for the embellishments. The High Hope sentiment "I've got the moosic in me!" is just the perfect match for the Party Cow.

Inside more of the same papers and musically note punches.

Had lots of fun putting this one together.

Have a safe and Happy New Year and make sure to Get a Little MOOOOSIC in YOU!

Flyin' High Santa

Howdy - Michelle O here today - Don't know about you but isn't Christmas is coming up really fast! And Santa because it is he is changing his mode of transportation this year!

This is "Flyin' High Santa" One of my favorite Santa images! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then found some papers in my scraps to use with him. I found a great pattern paper from I think DCWV has lots of glitter to it. I loved the tree pattern paper but it was just too many trees and too busy with my image, so I cut out a few trees and added them to my card. Then a sentiment "Santa Claus is Coming to town!" works great with this Santa. Sewed down all the layers.

Inside I did the same as the front -

In the meadow we can build a snowman! -- High Hopes Stamps

Happy Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by today as I created a little tag to share :)
I call it ... In the meadow we can build a snowman!
Yep I have frosty on my mind.
This sweet little number is from High Hopes called Making Friends found here!
I used the Swiss dots embossing folder and touches of white acrylic paint for a snowy look.
The tag reinforcement circle was created with a red Copic marker creating a plaid design to match the bow.
Thick Christmas bakers twine and a  twinkling background to complete the Christmas look on the tag.
Thanks for peeking!
Merry Christmas.

Lacey
Well, I'm sorry I missed my post last week. My husband was in the hospital with a blood clot. Luckily they found it early and a few days of hospital bed rest and blood thinners and he will be ok.
It has been a little crazy while he was gone so I am so thankful that I colored up two of these images the last time so I had a colored image already to be popped on a card...

This is the fun Jolly Old St Nick T037
It is also currently part of one of the Club Packs CP007

The papers are My Mind's Eye.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os and Copics.

Thanks for stopping by!!
Happy stamping!
