Burt & Doris Anniversary

Wow! I can't believe it's the last week of January already! Spring will be here before we know it - yay!

This week I challenged myself to make horizontal cards. I usually make vertical cards so I wanted to try something a little different.

This week's inspiration features Burt & Doris (T909), an older stamp from High Hopes and Happy Anniversary (F120) for my sentiment.

                                                      Donna

I started by colouring my stamp with alcohol markers and then fussy cut it. This time I left a bit of white edge around it. I didn't have quite the right off white background paper I needed so I inked up a background words stamp. Then I cut out my heart diamond fold shape and added some pink cardstock in the background. I cut and matted my patterned paper from Simple Stories, added my heart border and then Burt & Doris - mounted with pop dots.  I added some glitter to Doris' earrings and necklace and Blueberry gumdrops finish off my card.
