Am I the only one who is working feverishly to get Christmas cards done?
I have a couple of pre-teen, early teen age nephews I have to make cards for......and on their wish lists are money and gift cards along with a ton of other things of course!
I didn't want to make a card and just stick a gift card inside so I did the layout below...........with a twist! I made a pocket inside to hold the gift card or money depending on what I decide to give.
Inside
As usual, I started by colouring my image with alcohol markers. I fussy cut Rudolph's scarf and added Stickles to the snow drops on the background paper and the trim on Santa's hat and suit. The image is fussy cut and put on a background of snow banks and die cut trees. The sentiment is stamped directly on to the snow. Rudolph's nose is coloured with a sparkly red marker which is hard to see in the photo.
Then, I grabbed my patterned paper and cut out the pieces I needed and stamped Santa for a second time on the part of the card my handwritten message will go.
