Gorilla-Friend

This week I'm having some fun with the adorable "Camilla Gorilla". When I saw her not only did she make me smile but I wanted to try to use her in a fun way on my card. So, I challenged myself to do a CAS style card but to also include some type of scene.
Camilla has an infectious grin and I hope that the person who receives this adorable gorilla smiles along with her.

After colouring up Camilla and the banana tree I hand fussy cut it and ran a black marker around the edge. I set them aside and cut a piece of white cardstock to fit my card front and used an inside out stitched circle die to cut out my "window". Some watercolor wash paper from Lawn Fawn was perfect for my sky and I added a few stitched clouds just for fun. Camilla is added to my mini scene using 3D foam pop dots. I centered and stamped the sentiment using my Misti and finished of my card with some enamel dots.

Jungle shadow box

Happy Sunday!!

And a happy Easter too!!
Today I have a Happy Birthday card for you to show (with a Duch sentiment).
I've bought this shadow-box (Lawn Fawn) die a couple of weeks ago, but I only used it once. It is such a simple and fast die to create a quick and fun card!

It's not a big shadow-box, so all the Easter images I wanted to use were too big for this card. But there are many little stamps to create a fun card. This time I went for a jungle theme..
I used Banana Tree, Jungle Leave Corner, Neil Daimondback and Stanley Sea Snail ok, Stanley isn't a Jungle kind of type, but with this camouflage, he just fits right in ;)

The right Dutch sentiment is "Gefeliciteerd" and means Happy birthday. I added a few more sssss to the sentiment for a snakey touch, hahaha..

Copics used:

Enjoy your family time this Easter! I hope you'll have some crafting time too..
