Hugs to you!
Happy Monday!!!
I'm an early morning riser & one of my fav things to do is sit outside with my morning coffee and just listen to the birds chirping away. We feed our little flying friends all year long, love watching them. We have a little birdhouse in the backyard that our friend made for us. Each year we get little families of new birds....it's amazing to watch. I'm always trying to plant new plants that attract hummingbirds, I think they are just so amazing.
I couldn't wait to colour this new release called Hummingbird from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. I sat looking at it for a while to decide on my colour scheme...ok maybe not for too long lol...my fav color combo bright green & blue green came to mind. I LOVE PURPLE so I just had to made those beautiful little flowers PURPLE.
I went with the High Hopes Hugs & Hugs sentiment because I can now use this card for a variety of occasions.
Copic Color Combos
Leaves - YG17, YG09, YG07, YG05
Flowers - V09, V06, V05, V04
Flower Centres - YG25, YG23, YG21
Hummingbird - N9, N7, N5, N3, BG09, BG07, BG05, YG25, YG23, YG21
After I colored the stamp I die cut it with an MFT circle die then added the scalloped die cut which is an old one from Whimsy. A few sparkly self adhesive dots & a wee piece of ribbon to finished off this clean & simple card (CAS)

Have a wonderful day!
Crafty hugs,
Lil' Fire Chief
Cute right? I colored with my Copics and highlighted with pencils (colors below) The image is cut out with just a small border around it. I like how it pops off the page! The pattern paper is from MME and I thought the arrows in all different directions gave a lot of direction to the image. I sewed it down on a red paper, then a cream colored card stock base. A border across the bottom of the page with the High Hopes Stamps sentiment "I'm Responding to a Birthday Emergency" A few enamel dots for fun and a great card for a guy or fire chief loving girl.

Happy Saturday!!!
I don't know where the last couple of months have gone but my goodness time pass quickly!!
We released 19 brand new images this week & I decided to play with one of the new Willa's. There are 4 in the collection. I can't decide which one is my favorite. I colored all 4 of them just couldn't help myself they are so cute. This is Raindrops Willa with the Dot Rain or Shine sentiment.
I wanted to make a shape card a little different for the standard card. I used my cloud dies from MFT to cut the edges of the card base. I like it & will surely use the idea again.
Here is a side view, I popped up both the image & the sentiment for the CAS style card.

You're My Little Cuppy-Cake!
Another month is over and it is hard to believe after weeks of working and schooling from home, our communities are slowly beginning to open a bit more. The children are also celebrating the new normal for the summer break.
For today's card, I'm using the adorable Sitting Party Buddy from High Hopes Stamps, who is definitely celebrating. After colouring the image with copic markers, I cut him out using the Distress Rectangles Die from Spellbinders. Instead of using multiple design paper, I used a piece of Emerald Waterfall from Deco Foil with a sheet of "Where's the Party" foil mate from Gina K Designs and ran this through my MINC Machine. Some twine and enamel dots finished off this CAS card.

Really!!!
July is a big Birthday month in my family and Birthday Bob from High Hopes is perfect for the masculine cards I will need for the "older" people on my list.
I set him aside and created my card base by layering patterned paper from Lawn Fawn and adding some twine.
After stamping the sentiment - which is one long sentiment, I cut the word "really" off to put at the top of the card.
The circle behind him was cut using two circle dies from matching cardstock and I added Bob with some 3D foam pop dots. Enamel dots finish off my card.

Happy Birthday To Ye!
To make my card this week, I used Scrapberry's - The Pirate's Treasure (6x6 Paper Collection) paper for the main background which fit onto a card base of 6" x 6" perfectly.
I stamped the image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Cardstock and then coloured it in with Copic markers. Next, I fussy cut around the entire image and used a black marker to go around all of the edges.
To create the look of a ship in the background, I cut 2 small pieces of paper from Joy Crafts - Wood Texture and Joy Crafts Tough Textures miniature 4 x 9 designs. Then I joined them both together using 2-sided tape. Next, I ran both pieces through my Cuttlebug using My Creative Time - More Stitched Circles die cut. I popped up both the image and the small half circle background with 3M VHB - 2 sided tape and placed it in the centre of the card.
Once again, I used my MISTI and Memento - Tuxedo Black ink for the sentiment. I taped down the sentiment onto some scrap red cardstock and bumped it up on the card with 3M VHB - 2 sided tape. Lastly, to finish it off, I went around the entire outer edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Rusty Hinge and added a few Kraftin Kimmie - Seashore Dots.

High Hopes Stamps - Riley
A cutie right? I colored with my Copics (colors below) along with some pencils. I sewed down the layers on brown card stock with a piece of Paper Studio barn wood pattern paper. Don't you just love barn wood paper? I created a border with a Martha Stewart Iron Fence punch and ribbon. For a sentiment I used the sentiment "Howdy Pardner!" All little guys riding horses know how to say Howdy Pardner!

High Flying Ace
He is so fun to colour and just made me smile with his toothy grin and big thumbs up!
I wanted an airplane element to put in the sky but I couldn't find anything airplane in my stash - gasp! So I took a piece of the airplane paper and fussy cut a vintage plane to put in the sky. I went with the vintage style, open cockpit plane because it ties in perfectly with Ace's scarf, helmet and goggles. Some enamel dots finish off my card.

Buddy's Surprize!!
I used My Creative Time - Stitched Squares Inside and Out to cut some Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Then I used my MISTI and Memento - Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the image.
