Hello High Hopes Fans!!

We would like to say thank you to everyone who entered out Guest Designer Call.
There were a ton a lovely entries and it was a hard decision to make!

However, we would like to introduce two new Guest Designers:

Hi my name is Donna and I live in England, with my husband and our famous Jack Russell dog. I've been doing some form of crafting for the last 6 years and love all types of papercrafting and I love to try out new techniques all the time. I'm also very much into collecting paper, inks, markers, dies, tools.....you name it. I love using my various types of alcohol markers to color images whether they be digital or rubber stamps and I love to fill my cards with lots of embellishments, I'm not the clean and simple type cardmaker. I'm very proud and happy to have been asked to be a guest designer for High Hopes stamps.

Say hello to our new Divas

It's that time that we need to to welcome our new Guests and say goodbye to our last guests.

But, this time, we have decided to keep our last round of guests and make them Full Time Divas!! Gosh, I hope this doesn't go to their head and they demand their families to wait on them hand and foot!! LOL

Therefore we are so glad to announce that Kristine, Andrea, and Tanya will be staying on the Design Team!! Yay!!

We also have 3 new guests to welcome for March thru May.

Guest #1:
You probably know her if you've been a fan for a long time. She was one of the original Divas and recently returned for our 100th Challenge.
Please welcome back Anna Wight...
GRIN!* I am so excited to be a guest stamper for High Hopes! As a former High Hopes designer, I carry a warm place in my heart for the High Hopes family. It's WONDERFUL to re-join the team as a guest! ...A little about me... I was born and raised in northeastern Washington where my family still lives. Growing up I had a love for horses, nature, and EVERYthing artsy…especially coloring! I remember being a very young girl lying on the living room floor at my Grandma’s house (that horrible bumpy brown carpet numbing my elbows) coloring with Mom. All these years later, I continue to find joy in coloring, as well as paper crafting, rubber stamping, illustration, and photography. Now I live in Texas on a small farm with my fiance and our menagerie of farm animals! I invite you to visit my blog; I enjoy sharing a variety of crafty goodness as well as life on the farm, and frequently introduce readers to the adorable cows, goats, and chickens we raise! Now, let's get stamping!

Guest #2
Our next guest is one of our very active Challenge participants! Her work is always fun and amazing - with some being simple and sweet and others complex and full of detail.
Please welcome Alie de Vrij-Venema
HI! I'm Alie de Vrij-Venema from The Netherlands.
I'm married to Dirk for almost 6 years now and we have two children: Thijs (5 years) and Maayke (2 years). A month ago I started working at De Hobbykamer for about 24 hours a week (our local crafts store). And that is a dream come true!!!!!! My hubby and I created a workspace at our attic for me, but we don't have any heating at our attic, so.. you can guess it: yes, I use the kitchen table now! Luckely nobody seems to bother, so I keep crafting downstairs *LOL*. I really can't remember when I started crafting, but I can say that I turned my hobby into work!
I've been blogging since march last year and that really gave me a crafting boost! I've been asked to be a DT member for 2 challenge blogs and the people who know my work, also know that I am addicted to High Hopes stamps!! So to be asked to join the High Hopes blog as a guest designer is my second dream come true!! I really can't wait to get started!!

And Guest #3
We are so happy to welcome back one of our fabulous recent guests!
Cathy is back!!
Welcome back Cathy

A Warm Welcome...and a Sad Goodbye

It's that time where we are happy to introduce our newest guests! But at the same time, it's a sad moment since we need to say goodbye to our previous guests!

So to start off, we are very sad to say goodbye to both Cathy and Curt.
We have loved having them on the team and we are sad that their guest time has ended. We wish them the best of luck with everything they do and hope they will continue to participate in the challenges!

On the other hand, we are so happy to announce our newest guests!!
For the next three months, we actually have 3 new guests!! :-)

Introducing...

I have been an OBSESSED paper crafter for a few years now ever since I was introduced to stamping and refound my passion for paper, glitter, ink and glue that I had as a child. Yes I found my true love and haven't looked back. Speaking of true loves I am also very blessed to be married to my best friend for over 15 years and we have 2 beautiful girls together. My girls love to craft with me and my hubby is glad he now knows where he can always find me- in my craft studio hee hee! I was introduced to High Hopes stamps awhile back at the same time I foundcopic markers and it was a match made in heaven! I love using High Hope stamps with their amazing images and my favourite colouring medium. To be a guest designer for High Hopes is a dream come true! I am looking forward to sharing my art with you over the next few months.

I live in Sunny Southern California with my husband, Jeff, my 16 year old son, and our labrador, Jadie. My daughter, Tyler is 18 and a Freshman, attending college at Cal Poly, San Louis Obispo. My son is heavily involved in music-marching band, jazz band, etc. and Jeff and I are die hard band roadies. When I'm not helping with the kids in the band you'll find me happily stamping, coloring, and creating cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects in my craft room. I have been a huge fan of High Hopes Stamps for years and am so excited to be a guest diva!

I'm from a small town in BC,Canada. I'm married to my wonderful husband and we have 3 children...all girls ! ! I have been addicted to stamping for about 7 years. My obsession has taken over a large part of my life as well as my house, hee hee. I am so excited to share my obsession with the High Hopes Diva family and you. I'm proud to be joining as a Guest Diva and hope to see you all join in having some fun with us ! !

Please give our new guests a warm welcome as well as sending our past guests a fond farewell!!

New Guests Designers Apr/May/June

Just popped on today to introduce you to our two fabulous guest designers for the next 3 months - Sarah Litterick and Debby Yates.

Here the new Guest Diva's introduce themselves and i've also pulled a card from each of their blogs too :-)

I live in SW Ontario, Canada with my husband, daughter, and two crazy cats. I have been an avid scrapbooker for most of my life. About 4 years ago I became interested in making my own cards and soon discovered High Hopes Stamps at a local scrapbooking expo. It was love at first sight and they have easily become my favorite stamps to use. I gravitate to using alcohol based markers to colour my images but also love to use Prismacolor pencils with mineral spirits too; sometimes combining both methods. I feel very honoured & excited to be a guest designer for High Hopes!

I'm over the moon to be asked to be a Guest Designer for High Hopes stamps. I can still remember my first order, I had never ordered from aboard before but I simply had to have High Hopes stamps and ever so worried it would all go wrong but they arrived safe and sound. Today getting my fix of High Hopes stamps is much easier now I can get them from the UK.
I'm married to my Hubby for over 30 years and we have two grown up children, although one as left the nest whilst my daughter still lives at home and if I don't keep an eye on my stamps, I discover them in her stamp collection.

I've been a cardmaking for several years and I dabble with scrapbooking too. I'm a terrible stash hoarder which includes paper, ribbon, flowers and not forgetting stamps.

We are so excited to have them on board! Please do go grab a coffee and take your time visit them both at their blogs.

Sadly we say goodbye to our guest Melanie and also our designer Michelle. Thank you ladies for all that you have done for High Hopes! We will miss you both so much :-( Michelle has been such a super star and has been with the High Hopes family since they started their journey. We do have great news too in that our guest Alex. joins us full time :-)

If you have a little play time today or tomorrow there is still time to join in this weeks challenge!

New Guest Designers!!!

Are you all dying to know who the new Guest Designers are??? Well, it's been torture trying to hold it in, but I wanted to wait until closer to the beginning of their term to share.

Let me first start by saying thank you SO much to the over 200 amazing artists that sent in their applications to join our little gang of Divas! We were completely overwhelmed with them all and it was extremely difficult to choose only two....so we chose all six Guest Divas for the rest of this year!! BUT I'm only going to share the first two with you!

Without further delay, the first Guest Designer will be.....Tab Robinson of Tabby Craft Designs!!! We were absolutely blown away by Tab's submission and her incredible artwork. She lives in the UK and is a total craft addict, loving all things pretty and sparkly!!

Our second Guest Designer will be....Karen Goguen from the 6 Wacky Women blog! Another submission that just made our jaws drop!! Karen is a huge lover of High Hopes Stamps and lives in Ontario. She works at a local stamp store too!!

Tab and Karen will be part of our little group from April to June and we are thrilled to have them!! Unfortunately, that means that we will be losing our current Guest Designers, Diana and Nicole as their term is up at the end of March. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know these two lovely women and appreciate all they have done with the High Hopes images!! Thank you ladies!! Hugs!!

Now please give a warm welcome to Tab and Karen!!!

Guest Designer Call!!

Have you ever thought 'Hmmm...those High Hopes Divas seem to have so much fun!!'? Well, you're RIGHT! We do!! And we're looking for a couple of new crafty gals (or dudes) to join our crew!!

Each term we ask two designers to join us for a three month term to stamp up a storm using High Hopes images! This term will run from April to June.

In order to apply, here's what you have to do:

1. Use Katharina's wonderful sketch from yesterday's challenge to make a card. If you don't have High Hopes stamps yet, not a problem!! Use what stamps you do have...but if you've got 'em, use 'em!!

2. Send us a link to your online gallery and/or blog so we can see more of your work!

3. Tell us a little bit about yourself, including any past/current design team work. If you've never been on a DT before, not to worry! We are looking for seasoned stampers as well as new stampers! Also tell us why you'd like to join the Divas!!

4. Send your pic and information to Kim at: fairygirlstamper@yahoo.ca

What is expected of our Guest Designers and what they receive:
1. As a High Hopes Diva, you will receive TEN High Hopes stamps of your choice. Also if there is a release during your term, you will receive new stamps as well!!

2. Designers are required to create cards and projects using their High Hopes stamps and upload them to their online galleries and/or blog. We require approximately one design per week and you must make at least one card with each stamp that you receive. Joining in with the challenges each week is not a requirement, but it's so much fun, so why not?? Heehee!

So if this sounds like something you would enjoy and you can make the commitment for three months, from April 1st to June 30th, please send us your submissions!! The deadline for applications will be Sunday, February 22nd!! We look forward to hearing from you!!
