Harvest Blessings

Welcome Everyone;

While the leaves on the trees are changing colours and falling, the last of the harvests are in,  and the weather has a definite chill about it, indicating that fall has arrived.  Time to put away our summer clothes and dig out our warmer ones.

For today's card I have used Harvest Harry from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  After colouring Harry with Copic Markers, I cut the image out as a rectangle.  I then used Wild Honey Distress Ink, to ink around the outside edges.  Nuvo Crystal Drops and Orange Marmalade Jewel Dots were used to create some enamel dots and finish off the card.

Supplies used:

  • Stamps:  Harvest Harry (S032), Bold Harvest Blessings (F084) -- both from High Hopes Stamps
  • Paper:  XPress It Blending Cardstock, Fall Market - Echo park
  • Ink:  Distress Oxide - Wild Honey

Harvest Harry and We're All Ears

Howdy - MichelleO here today with a little more Fall fun this week for High Hopes Stamps - And this week I pulled out one of my very first High Hopes Stamps that I bought many many years ago. I love this sleepy little scarecrow!

This is "Harvest Harry"... Isn't he just adorable?? Now his two friends.. well that is a later addition to my stamps. But they are just as cute. They remind me of Heckle and Jeckle (love those cartoon characters!)  ... but this stamp is called  "We're All Ears"  Maybe they are junior Heckle and Jeckles?  Love them matched up with Harvest Harry! Then a little sentiment "Harvest Blessings" I stamped it all out and colored with my Copics. Then found scraps of Graphic 45 papers that have that warm fall feeling to them. Sewing it all together.

A few die cut corner and dots of Nuvo pen as faux brads.

These images just make me feel happy and warm! High Hopes Stamps has hundreds .. or more :0) Stamps that make me feel all happy and warm!

Sending Smiles!

Hello HH Fans!
Fall is in the air and with that comes all the adorable Fall stamps, papers and warm colours! Today for my post I am using "Harvest Harry".
My Design is very simple today with only one layer of designer paper and a bit of Burlap ribbon. I coloured my image with my Copic Sketch markers and then fussy cut it out with my Brother Cut N Scan. I popped the image up with some foam squares and added a few enamel dots for a bit of interest. The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Sending Smiles".

Harvest Harry with Cawnie and Cawrls Lunch

Howdy -MichelleO here and today I am playing with some of my favorite Fall stamps this month from High Hopes Stamps - Couldn't narrow down to one.. so two came out to play - :0)

Harvest Harry and Cawnie and Cawrls Lunch

First off I stamped Cawnie and Cawrls Lunch then masked it off and stamped Harvest Harry. Creating a little scene... Seems Scarecrow Harry is sleeping on the job and those pesky birds are getting to enjoy the corn! I colored with my Copics (colors below) then I added the fun High Hopes stamps sentiment "Ears to you!"  I found a scrap gingham paper in my stash that I sewed my image onto. Then I decided that the scarecrows shirt needed to match up so I stamped it and cut it out and glued it to the image. A kraft card stock base and then some dots of Nuvo Crystal dots in the corners.

I have always had a crush on Harvest Harry... :0) Hope you did too...

My kind of scarecrow... just snoozing while on the job. Wonderful! I colored with my Copics (colors below)  Matching up with papers from Farm House Fair Skies collection. Wonderful Rich colors. I sewed down the layers, and the cut out the image and matted it and cut around it. I used the High Hopes "Happy Fall y'all" LOVE that Y'all! I added three buttons - and then added some Martha Stewart Leaf and branch punches. Topped off with three mulberry roses in fall colors.

Copic colors used -

Hope the Fall weather is coming soon and things are cooling off where you are! Coloring it up to bring it faster!

Have a wonderful day -

Happy Harvest

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

For this month, the talented Design Team is sharing projects made with Fall/Halloween stamps. So here is my card using some of these super adorable High Hopes images...
 Jane

This is Harvest Harry (S032), Crow from We're All Ears (K034) and Happy Harvest Sign.  What an adorable scarecrow and crow!

To start, I used a piece of watercolour paper and a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image and background (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  To colour the main image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  After the colouring was finished and dry, Glossy Accents were added on the crow's beak.  Once this was all dry, I proceeded to fussy cut out the crow and sign.  The main image was die cut using a MFT - Cross Stitch Rectangle die.  The background clouds were created using a scalloped oval punch template and some Adirondack Aqua ink pad with sponge dauber.  I just moved the punched piece randomly around and sponged the ink in an upward motion.

For the card base and main image layering, I decided on a piece of SU Chocolate Chip cardstock.  The designer paper is from Bo Bunny-Heritage Collection 6x6 Paper Pad.  To create the cornstalks, a MFT die called Cornstalk was used with SU Always Artichoke cardstock.  A Versamagic dewdrop - wheat, was lightly brushed over the tip of the cornstalks to create a more realistic tassle on the corn.  To adhere the crow, sign and cornstalks, foam tape was applied to help make them pop out a bit and add some dimension to my card.
