Happy Trick or Treating!

It’s Wednesday, and today I'm sharing a CAS card using Witchy Poo with Kitty Frame - P120 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main image and Trick or Treat Greeting - H231 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment. Witchy Poo and Kitty are looking out to see all of the wonderful little trick or treaters coming to visit them for their treats! What are you dressing up as this year?

To make the card, I started with a 5.5" x 4.25" cards base. My Mind's Eye - Dolled Up - 6" x 6" was cut to the same size and adhered to the base card with double-sided tape. Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain ink was used to edge across the bottom of the card. The image was stamped and then coloured in with Copic Markers. I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut around the image and then used a black marker to go around all of the edges.

The sentiment was stamped and then die cut with Essentials by Tattered Lace Dies - Easel Slider. Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Carved Pumpkin and a black marker were used to ink all of the 4 sides of the sentiment.

The coloured image and sentiment were popped up onto the card using 3M VHB - 2 sided tape and some stickers were add for embellishments.

Witchy Poo with Kitty Frame

Howdy - MichelleO here today and High Hopes Stamps is getting a little spooky this month - showing off some Halloween images! BOO! Now I tend to lean towards the more silly fun images with my Halloween cards, and this silly little witch and her purple hair makes me grin. "Witchy Poo with Kitty Frame"

I always tend to try new colors with my Halloween, but I can't help it Purple, Green and Orange just feels so good together with these cards! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then did a little high lighting with some pencils.

There was a great piece of pattern paper in my scraps. Now I don't think it was designed for Halloween, but it and its bit of glitter just worked well with my spider button! I added some yellow Ranger Stickles to the moon and stars, and then sewed all the layers down onto a black card stock base. For the sentiment the High Hopes "Trick or Treat!" is just perfect!

Happy Halloween!

Hello My Friends!

It's Tuesday so that means it's my turn to post over on the High Hopes and One Crazy Stamper Blogs! The theme this month is Fall/ Halloween, so I've chosen the oh so adorable "Witchy Poo with Kitty Frame" to make my card with.

I started by first making my background for my card base. I just got the YNS "Funky Line Panel Die" and thought it would be perfect for "Witchy Poo". I pulled out my stash of older Doodlebug Halloween paper and added strips for a fun background. Then I coloured my image to match my paper choices. A few spider webs complete with cute green spiders and a bow were my embellishments this time. I added Yellow Stickles to the moon and stars. The sentiment is also from HH and is called "Simple Halloween".

Happy Halloween!

Happy Tuesday!

It's Tuesday so that means I'm over on the High Hopes Blog sharing this cute Halloween themed card. I am using "Witchy Poo With Kitty Frame".

After I coloured up "Witchy", I cut the image out using a Stitched Square die. I layered orange cardstock behind my image and papers. The paper is from the Pebbles Boo 6x6 collection. All the edges of my papers are inked with Distress Ink in Black Soot. Using a Stitched Fishflag die I made the cute sentiment tag. The sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Simple Halloween". I added Clear Wink of Stella to the yellow sky for a nice shimmer.
