I hope you have enjoyed all of the Birthday cards we have been sharing with you this month.
I have one last Birthday themed card to share with you this week. Meet "Dancing Ellie". How fun is Ellie in her tutu!
I stepped out of my colour comfort zone with this one - I don't usually do many purple/mauve cards but I am happy with how it turned out.
After colouring Ellie with alcohol markers, I cut her out using a classic oval die. A matching cardstock stitched oval die was cut to mount her on. The sentiment was done on my computer, printed out and cut with a fishtail banner die. Some matching twine and gumdrops finish off my card.
Stamps: Dancing Ellie (R065) - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Computer, Calibri Font
Patterned Paper: Watercolour Wash - MFT, Forever in Time
Tuxedo Black ink - Memento, Copic XpressIt cardstock, Stitched Oval die - YNS, Fishtail Banner die - YNS, American Craft Twine, Classic Oval die - Spellbinders, Lavender gumdrops - YNS
Spectrum Markers: 1G1 1G3 IG5 FS8 HB1 LV1 HB2 PP1
