Make a wish

Happy Sunday!!

We are enjoying a nice warm week here over in the Netherlands (29 degrees yesterday!!) and with warm temperatures it seems my coloring is getting a bit sunny too..

For today's card I've used the Fairy Garden along with the Butterfly Fairy and the Make a Wish sentiment from the latest release..
I've duplicated some of the flowers of the Fairy Garden background and I've extended the stone path and the river to match the base of the card..

I've added a action wobble behind the Fairy for some fun on the card ;)
The shaped card is made by a die from Studio Light.

Magical Moments....

Welcome HH Fans;

For today's post, I have used the "Wizard in Training" from the High Hopes Stamps latest release called "A Magical Day".   It would be nice if she could do some magic that would bring us some spring.

Today's card is on the clean and simple side.  The two side panels were created by using the Vintage Border Hot Foil Stamp and the GoPress and Foil machine to foil them.  This machine can foil embossing folders as well as wafer thin dies.

Fairy Garden Magic

This week my card features the Fairy Garden and Twinkle Fairy from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.

I have heard you have to be very, very quiet and pull the plants back slowly and if you're lucky, very lucky you will see a magical garden. I chose to put my garden behind a circle cut out to mimic that.

Both of these stamps are coloured with alcohol markers and the fairy is hand fussy cut. I added some sparkle to her wings with Stickles and to some of the flowers in the garden. I wanted to keep my paper on the more subtle side to keep the focus on this beautiful garden and fairy. Some branches and sparkle gumdrops finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Fairy GardenTwinkle Fairy -  High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Magical Moments - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Gingham Galore - MFT

Twinkle Fairy

Howdy - MichelleO here today for High Hopes Stamps I made sure to have lots of bling. The new Twinkle Fairy HAS to have lots of bling.. every fairy does!

She is colored with my copics (colors below) and then LOTS of Ranger Stickles for that bling. My paper is an older piece of Scribble Scrabble That I sewed down with a zig zag stitch. The sentiment is also new from High Hopes - "Leave Room in Your Garden for the fairies to dance"

Then I needed a little garden.. so I added some Martha Stewart leaves punches and Mulberry flowers.

I like how fun my card with all the bling came out. No matter what mood you are in a Fairy flying over with lots of bling can make you happy!

I hope you enjoyed too!

Dragon Pals Welcome

I'm not sure why but from the moment I saw the Dragon Pals stamp from the new A Magical Day release I thought new baby card.

I also wanted to think outside the box when it came to my colour choices for something different and fun so I coloured these cuties in a green and orange colour combo.

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers I hand fussy cut it the wing tip and tail so I could fit my circle die underneath to do a partial die cut.  I added some pink Spectrum Sparkle pen to the butterfly wings - it's a little hard to see. Next I grabbed a cloud die cut and my baby blue ink and formed my clouds. I added some pale grey under their feet....maybe next time I would use green - hindsight is always the best isn't it?! <wink>
Patterned paper from Photo Play had a perfect combination for the base of my card. Some Prima flowers, ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Dragon Pals -  High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Welcome Little One - High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Wizarding Gnome

Howdy - MichelleO here today and I have another little bit of Magic from High Hopes Stamps new release - This one this week is "Wizarding Gnome" he is so cute!

He is cute right? I colored with my Copics (colors below) I then found an old piece of pattern paper from  Scribble Scrabble that I sewed down to a cream colored card stock mat. I added some Ranger Stickles to the crystal ball, the stars and then decided that the paper needed some "magic" too and added lots of stickles to the circles of the pattern paper. My sentiment is also new from High Hopes "Make a Wish".

Fun card for a birthday don't you think?

Wizarding Gnome!

Hi HH Fans!
I wanted to share this CAS card I designed with you today! I am using the "Wizarding Gnome" from the New Release over at High Hopes Stamps called "It's A Magical Day".
My design is really simple with no Designer paper today. All I did was create a mystical night sky using some Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I blended all the colours together and then sprayed it with a bit of water. Once I heat set that, I use a paintbrush and splattered some Copic Opaque solution onto it. Using a Spellbinder Labels 18 die, I then just cut out my shape and popped up my image onto it. I added the High Hopes sentiment called "Dream Big" right onto my card base using my MISTI for perfect placement! I used a Whimsy FAdoodles stamp set to add some interest in the corners. A bit of Yellow Stickles and everything was done.
Copics Used:
E00, E11, E21
V05, V06, V09
W1, W3, W4, W5, W6, W7

Quiet herats -- High Hopes Stamps!

Hi there and Happy Saturday!
I'm back again to share another little creation using ....
A little garden scene using a mason jar die. The fairy is one of the new
release stamps from High Hopes.
I cut some butterflies and flowers from a pattern paper and individually glued them for the card.  The jar cap is actually tin foil (some times it does day to craft in the kitchen!! :)
The image is coloured with Copic Markers.  I added gems for a wee bit of sparkle and
tried to coordinate the twine with her pretty dress.
I left a writing space inside of the card to put a little
note.
The sentiment is stamped in distress ink and
foam mounted to the front of the
card.  I punched some holes in the card and fed the twine so the card closes with a tied bow :)
Thanks for peeking!
