Country Garden

My final my favourite thing to share with you this month is flowers.

My Grandmother was phenomenal with putting together bright coloured flowers in our flower beds. My job was to follow her as she planted with the "magic" bucket to water the flowers after they were planted. The "magic" made the water blue.......such a fun child hood memory! As an adult I know what turned the water blue........but I still like to pretend I didn't know <wink>

I think Country Garden is the perfect stamp to use to

I have another favourite thing to share and that is country colours. Dusty rose and what I call a grey blue are some of my favourite colours. After colouring my stamp, I cut it out using a stitched rectangle die. Some paper from Julia Nutting and MFT were perfect. A white picket fence, cotton lace bow and some gumdrops finish off my card.
I decided to keep the layout quite simple and will add the sentiment to the inside of the card when I have an occasion to use it.

Fisherman Fred

Howdy - MichelleO here today - And for my card - I wanted a guy card for a friend. And this image of Fisherman Fred just seemed to perfect.

Such a fun image! I colored up Fred with my Copics (colors below) then I cut out with an oval Spellbinders Nestie, making sure to cut out the fishing rod of course. The edges are inked with Rangers Distress Ink Tea Dye ink.

My papers are fun Paper Studios Beach papers with a Kraft card stock all sewn together. Inked the edges as well and then added just a few Enamel Dots... just a few. Topped off with a great sentiment from High Hopes Stamps "Dropping A Line"

Hi High Hopes Peeps!
I've had so much fun using the new stamps from the High Hopes Stamps "So Much Cuteness" release this month! The title of the release sure lives up to it's name! Meet the adorable "Waddles"! Such a cute Mother duck and her little ducklings! I can just see them "waddling" around the farm!
I'm also using the stamp called "Farm Background" on the top of my card to create a little scene for my ducks!
I took a 5.5" Square and cut off a portion of the front panel. This way I could add a fence and show the Farm Background as well.
On the bottom portion of my card I added paper from the Bella Blvd. Barn Yard collection and the "Rise & Shine" sentiment.

Rosette Cupcake Topper!

Happy Monday High Hopes Friends!

This week I am sharing something different from handmade cards. Over the week I saw a few tutorial how to created *Rosette or Lollipop* and got inspired by so many talented ladies out there.

I stamped "Clucker and Clackers" from High Hopes Stamps with Memento tuxedo black and used my alcohol markers to colour. After my image was dome I fussy cut it leaving a small white border. A sheet polka dot fan background with scallop circle Nestabilities in the center, and a white classic circle with distress edges added to the front. I used a border punch on the edge of the rosette, it adds such interest.
Copic List; R27 R29 R39 R59 YR09 C9 W1 W3 and 0

To finish my *Rosettes I dye some white seam binding ribbon with distress ink. I tie a bow and added "Rise And Shine" with a button bake twine and thread.

I hope, I have inspires you to created one with all your gorgeous High Hopes Stamps, papers, and dies. Add the perfect handmade finishing touch to your crafty projects, birthday package, decoration or maybe used as a clothes pin.

Get Your Happy

I couldn't let the month of sharing some of my favourite things with you without sharing one of my favourite High Hopes stamps with you!

Classy Clydesdale was in one of the first new releases I got to play with as a design team member.
Today's card is a reminder to be happy! My horse used to remind me of this every once and a while. If I was too stressed out or he felt I needed a laugh he would always do something to make walk over to the garbage can and pull a Tim Horton's coffee cup out of the garbage and stand there bopping it back and forth..........and many more stories believe me!

Classy Clydesdale just looks so happy and seems to like to have fun so I thought he was perfect for my card.

This week's card was started by making my background paper. I used some inks from stamping up and my ink blending tool and went to work. I added the mini butterfly ink splatter and cut out my pieces using a stitched rectangle die.
The stamp was coloured and fussy cut a very long time ago - it has been on the corner of my white board watching every move I make <wink> but I felt it was perfect for my card this week so voila!
Some gingham ribbon, a wooden horseshoe and sparkly gumdrops - more of my favourite things <smile> finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Classy Clydesdale - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Get Your Happy On - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Tuxedo Black ink - Memento,  Misti3D foam pop dots - Forever In Time, ink and ribbon - Stampin' Up, wood horseshoe - Southern Ridge Trading Co., stitched rectangle die - YNS, Ink Blending tool and foam - Ranger, magical pastel sparkly gumdrops - YNS

Happy Pigs

Howdy - MichelleO here today and I have another new stamp from High Hopes Stamps and who doesn't love "Happy Pigs"

And two little piggies playing in the mud is really adorable! I colored up with my Copics (colors below) Love to color up that they are a bit messy in the mud. I used paper from Simple Stories, with Green and White card stock. I used a zig zag stitch to attach everything. A fun heart doily from Whimsy Stamps and the High Hopes Stamps sentiment "Hogs and Kisses" from the new release! How perfect is it? Three pearl dots in the corner to finish it off.

Copic colors used -

Just love these new stamps from the new release "So Much Cuteness" It is one of my all time favorites!

Oh Bull!

Hi HH Fans!
I'm just popping in today to share with you another adorable image from the High Hopes "So Much Cuteness" Release! I'm loving this release because the images are a nice size and not too detailed so you can create a card quite quickly! These images are great for the beginner or more experienced colorer!! Let me introduce you to the "Oh Bull" image!  I just love the little bird on his head!
My card is a simple design and I just used 2 of the papers from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Fall 6x6 collection! Once I popped up my image with foam squares and added it to the paper, I thought of the saying "less is more". Sometimes you just want the image to be the total focal point not all the embellishments that you add. I added Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter pen to the bow and flowers for some bling.
I have a little secret to share. I was all finished colouring my image and was added Gold Wink of Stella to the ring in the Bull's nose when plop" a huge amount came out. I'm sure the whole neighbourhood heard me scream LOL! What to do now???? Rather than throw out my finished image I decided to just re-stamp the head. I coloured it, fussy cut it out and then popped it up with foam squares. It added a cute dimension to his head! Sometimes mistakes turn into the best little things ever!
Copics Used:
Bull: E11, E13, R01/ E15, E17, E18
Flowers: BG11, BG13, Y23, Y26
Grass: YG23, YG25
Bird: Y23, Y26

Happy Stamping!
