A pirates birthday!

Happy Sunday!!

Today is a celebration day for me! My business is celebrating it's 3rd anniversary! But it's a Sunday, so no kids today to celebrate it with ;)
That's why I'd like to show you a kids card today!
The pirate theme is a regular theme her in my daycare, kids just love playing pirates and finding a treasure!

I made the card simple: for the base I've used Kraft cardstock by Bazzill Papers. The wooden dessinpaper is from Studio Light.
Behind Peg Leg Pete you can see a bit of the Treasure Map too.
The sentiment is Dutch and means Happy Birthday.

Normally there's a picture now with my used Copics, but I forgot to take a picture of the Copics I've used..

Thanks for stoppping by!
And be sure to come back tomorrow for the NEW RELEASE stamps!!!! I can tell they are great! And you want to have them all!!!

Have a great day today!

High Hopes Dragon Fun!

Happy Friday! I'm back to share a little card using ...
I plan on using this creation  as a fathers day card.  I think this will get a good laugh
around the dinner table!
The image is coloured with Copic Markers, Pattern paper and embossed background. The image was fussy cut and pop dotted into place.  I added a button and twine and tried not to make this
one too girly.

No Clue

This week I am having some fun with Little Sleuth and Watson from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.
I don't know why but these stamps both make me giggle. Today we find our friends looking at the list of clues to try to figure out what event they will be celebrating. Watson has his nose on the gifts....I think he thinks the gifts will be for him and contain treats!

After colouring the stamps with alcohol markers, I hand fussy cut them and ran a black Memento marker around the edge to fix any white I had left. I had some fun on my computer coming up with a list of clues and then printed them on lined paper in a light grey. I wanted them to feel mysterious which is why I printed them in grey. I used a letter edge die to make the list look like it had been ripped off a pad of paper.
After cutting my patterned paper to size I stamped some confetti on one - again in light grey and it adds to the clues.
The sentiment comes as one sentiment in two lines but I masked off each line and stamped them separately. Some simple gumdrops finish off my card.

Fisherman Fred

Howdy - MichelleO here today... My husband went fishing last weekend. And while having a little "me" time and coloring I decided a fun little card with High Hopes Stamps Fisherman Fred stamp. Now Hubby might think this little old man fishing is not funny since he is a stud fly fisherman.. LOL But I think he is adorable.

I colored with my Copics (colors below) And then found a couple of papers from BoBunny. I sewed down the layers with my sewing machine. And the used a dark brown card stock for the base. A few Enamel Dots for a little fun to match the pattern paper.

Copic colors used -

Fun card... maybe I will save this for a card for my husband... LOL

Have a great day!

Hey there!

Happy Sunday!!

Yesterday the guys finished the pavement in my backyard and I could finally go shopping for some nice plants!! I added some herbs in one flowerbed and in the biggest flowerbed I've put all purple and white flowers.. And my daughter found the perfect smelling rose, so that one went in our shopping cart too, yeay!!

With all that gardening I was in a farmer kind of mood, hahaha, so I made a birthday card for my stash with Farmer Clem.  With the Hey There and Pirates Birthday sentiments..

Dessinpapers are from Doodlebug Design Inc and is called Down on the farm.
I've used a MFT circle die and a Marianne Design wire die.

Happy Father Day -- Shaker Card

Thanks for peeking in today.  I created some shaker goodness using ....
 Made With High Hopes ...
With Father's day just around I've been working on a little
shaker card!
I stamped the "tool" image several times and coloured with Copics.  I kept the colour scheme black, red white and grey with a little touch of Kraft.
Added some finishing nails and black beads to the shaker.  The sentiment is stamped in back and the frame is embosses with a criss-crossed design.
