Love Tag!

Carolina

Good Morning and Welcome,
High Hopes Fans!

Today I want to share a quick and easy to make tag.
I have put together a Valentine's bucket with some goodies for one of my daughter's teacher.

The stamp I am using is called "Bubble Love" from HHS
Find this image and tons more here at High Hopes Stamps!

The image was stamped with Memento ink on a shipping tag and coloured with Copic markers.
Marker List: R20 R27 R29 R39 RV00 RV10 RV11 E00 E23 E25 E29 E51 V000 C1 C5 BG10 YG03

Find this adorable image and tons more here at High Hopes Stamps!

After my image was all coloured I distress the edges with Antique Linen and Tea Dye distress inks.
I loved how my last week tag looked with the doodles so I try it again!
I added some Wink of Stella to the bubbles and cover them with Glossy Accent.

The Seam Binding ribbon and lace ribbon was dye with Tattered Angels (Rouge) Glimmer Mist.
I used a pale pink button from my stash, linen thread, a red clothes pin and a pearl to finish the bow.
The sentiment was emboss with red embossing powder.

Hope you're being inspired to created something pretty!

Happy Saturday Friends!  Here's a fun birthday card to help get those creative juices flowing...
 Lisa

This is Shelbert (P116).  Such a cute image and not too tricky to colour either!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I applied some Glossy Accents to the balloon.  This gave it a lot of shine, but maybe a little difficult to see in this picture.

The pattern paper is from Bo Bunny - Safari Collection 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some SU Chocolate Chip and White cardstock.  The image was cut down to a smaller size then layered with the Chocolate Chip cardstock.   The corners of the image were cut using a SU corner punch.  Two strips of SU Alpine ribbon were added horizontally.  Foam tape was applied to raise the main image, to add a bit of dimension.  To complete this card, some YNS - Chocolate Gumdrops were added on the top and bottom corners.

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - 249, N15, 192, 977, 969, 837 and 856.  Versamark Ink Pad and Black Embossing Powder.

Paper - Bo Bunny - Safari Collection 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Chocolate Chip and White Cardstock.

Party Cow

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!
Come join our monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the January Challenge - "Anything Goes" can be found here

As promised, I have another birthday card to hopefully inspire you today!
  Jane

This is Party Cow (S114), party hat, and Celebrate (E052) sentiment.  This Party Cow stamp is just sooo adorable!  I think this birthday card will be perfect for my dad (who is a dairy farmer), and has a birthday coming up next month.   However, this card could be used for a variety of occasions other than just a birthday.

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I fussy cut the cow.  I also coloured the party hat stamp and fussy cut it out too.

The barbed wire fence die is from MFT, using brown and grey cardstock.  I wanted to have party cow in a pasture-like setting, just dancing around!  That's probably not something you see everyday!!!  SU Basic Black Cardstock was used for the card base.  The designer paper is from Doodlebug-Goal 6x6 paper pad.  The party hat was glued to the cow's head, then foam tape was used under the entire image to give it some dimension.  For the sentiment, it was stamped with a versamark ink pad then heat embossed using black embossing powder.  To complete this card, a bunch of YNS-Glitter Black Gumdrops were added on the top right and bottom left corners.

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - 491, N60, N15, N35, N55, 942, 761, 277, 126, 133 and 800.  Versamark Ink Pad and Black Embossing Powder.

PaperDoodlebug - Goal 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Soft Suede, Going Grey, Black & White Cardstock.

Misc - MFT - Barbed Wire Fence Die, YNS-Glitter Black Gumdrops, Water Brush, Foam Tape, and Glue Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday's Best - Lacey

Hello High Hopes Fans!!

If you are looking for the Monthly Challenge, you can find it here.
******
Lacey
I needed to get started on some Valentine's Day cards for the kids' teachers.
I chose Sunday's Best R054 for my son's teacher. It's nice and cute, but not overly "lovey-dovey" since it's a card for a teacher from a 5th grade boy ;-)

This image is really cute for a Mother's Day card as well.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os.

Thanks for stopping by!!
Happy stamping!!

Gone Fishing

Happy Thursday High Hopes Fans!

Winter has decided to "grace" us with her presence so I am hibernating in my craft room thinking Spring, Summer......warmth in general.  And what says warm weather better then fishing!?!

My post today features three different, older High Hopes Stamps : Scuba Kitty (S185), Bubbles (H259) and the sentiment is from Sign Post (T204)

I started by colouring my image with alcohol markers, I added Glossy Accents to the "bowl"  and fussy cut it. The water drops were a bit of a challenge but I got most of them included. The "sand" was cut from cardstock and mounted onto my background "water". I stamped some fish in the water, and created my waves at the top with a scallop punch. It is hard to see in the photo, but the "negative" pieces were used as wave peaks in the back. Once my scene was created, I mounted it on cardstock and patterned paper from Close To My Heart and My Minds Eye. I added some twine, stamped my sentiment and cut it out with a fishtail banner die and added a ticket behind and an eyelet. My card is finished off with my favourite - gumdrops in clear (for the air bubbles) and in a sparkly blue.

Stamps: Scuba Kitty,  BubblesSign Post - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: MME, Close To My Heart
Dies: Fishtail Banner Dies, Hills Die Set - Your Next Stamp
Glossy Accents, Bazzill and Recollections cardstock, Twine, Eyelet
Gumdrops: Crystal Clear, Ice Ice Baby Sparkly - Your Next Stamp

Spectrum Noir Markers: CT4 GB5 OR1 BG2 BG3 BG7 BT2 BT4 BT5 CR2 CR4 CR6 BT4 BT5 BT7 TN3 TN4 TN8

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!

Fancy Birdhouse 1

Howdy - MichelleO here and today is happy little image Fancy Birdhouse -

This image was just so wanting to be colored! A happy image that just looked like it wanted to be pretty pinks blues and cream colors. (insert happy face here) This is Fancy Birdhouse and I colored with Copics (colors below) and then cut out with an oval Spellbinders Nestie. The papers are from First Edition Bella Rosa collection. Matted with cream paper that I used a Martha Stewart Border Corner punch, Eyelet Lace. One of my favorites. I sewed all the layers down after inking the edges with Rangers Distress Ink. Then added a few adhesive gumdrops dots.

The sentiment is another High Hopes stamp - "Happy Anniversary!" Love the fun font.

The Copic colors used -
