Stack of Wishes!

Hello!!!

Who doesn't love a Gnome?! But a stack of Gnomes, oh my goodness, cuteness overload! This adorable image called "Perfectly Stackable" is from High Hopes Stamp's new "Gnome Mania" release. 

I started making my card by stamping the image onto Copic Friendly paper and colouring it in with my Copic markers. Using a Gina Marie Arched Stitched Tag die, I cut my Gnomes out. I am using papers from the new Echo Park "Winter" 6x6 collection. I love the High Hope sentiment called "Stack of Wishes", it matches these cuties perfectly. Some enamel dots and a pretty white bow finish off my card!

Just Crusin'

 Howdy - MichelleO here today - Have you peeked at the new release at High Hopes Stamps "Gnome Mania"? Oh my what a cute group of handsome Gnomes! 

Today I had some fun coloring up "Just Cruisin'" - how can you not love a couple of Gnomes in a convertible? I always wanted a Baby Blue Bug when I was young! LOL

 

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then found some fun papers from Fancy Pants - I sewed down the layers with a zig zag stitch and straight stitch. For a fun border I used an EK Success border punch with a pattern orange paper. Love how it pops. 

 

For a sentiment I used High Hopes Stamps  "Gnome Mistake" such a great sentiment! I punched it out with a EKSuccess tag punch and then created a faux border with a copic marker. A couple of Enamel dots just well.. because?

Checkin' It Twice

Welcome Everyone;

High Hopes Stamps, newest release Gnome Mania, has just hit the presses.  These stamps are so adorable and so much fun.

For today's card, I have used Checkin' It Twice Gnome along with He Gnomes for the sentiment.

After stamping the image onto some copic friendly paper, I coloured it with copic markers.  A Scalloped stitched Nesting Oval was used to cut the image out.  A Stitched Oval Die and some plaid Christmas paper were used to cut another oval shape. Some Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops was added to Santa's outfit.  Some twine and enamel dots finished off this CAS card.

High Temperature

 Gnome Mania has taken over the High Hopes blog and website and if you love gnomes there is sure to be something in this new release for you! 

They are doing some fun things like colouring, fishing, sewing, knitting and so much more! Be sure to check out the full release (here)!
The one gnome who may not be feeling up to joining the release party is "High Temp" who is under the weather and is joining the party from bed under his favourite blanket. Hopefully he feels better soon!

                                                                    

I stamped this cutie with Tuxedo black Memento ink and coloured him with Copic markers. I hand fussy cut him and added black marker around the edge to get any white I had missed. Patterned paper from two different Honey Bee Stamps paper pads helped me create the bedroom where our sickie is resting. I created a window by cutting the paper with a square die and using the same die, I cut a piece of grey card stock to fit the outside edge of the die and ran it through my die cut machine to create a window frame. 

To create my curtains I traced the inside of the die lightly on card stock, measured it to find the centre point and then drew an "R". I cut one side out, flipped it over, traced it and cut out the second one. I added some twine to make it look like they are tied back. Again, using the same square die I found a piece of snowy sky paper and cut a piece out to fit in the window. 

To create the floor I cut a piece of wood paper and added a strip of grey card stock to act as a baseboard. I stamped and mounted the sentiment on matching card stock and added the stamped image with foam pop dots. Enamel dots finish off my card.

Dropping A Line!!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I made a birthday card using Just Fishin' - TLF029 by High Hopes Rubber Stamps for the main image and Dropping A Line - FFL013 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment. High Hopes just released November "Gnome Mania". There are so many new super adorable gnomes to choose from.

To make my card this week, I began with a card base of Hammermill - Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock, cut and scored to be 5.5" x 4.25". I cut the background paper from Rust coloured cardstock to be the same size and applied this directly to the base card using double-sided tape. Using my Cuttlebug and My Creative Time - Rectangle Frame Layers, I die cut the patterned paper from Photo-Play - Camp Happy Bear. Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Evergreen Bough was used to ink around the edges. I added some thin double-sided U-line tape to this piece and popped it up onto the background. With my MISTI and Memento - Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped both the image and the sentiment onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. Craftin Desert Diva's - Inside Scalloped Squares dies were used to die cut the Rust coloured paper and Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. I cut a 3.75" square out of Hammermill - Premium Colour 100 lb. cardstock and used this to piece the 2 die-cuts together after I finished colouring in the image with Copic Markers. This made the 2 pieces more sturdy for adding double-sided tape to pop it up onto the printed background. I die-cut the sentiment using My Creative Time - Curly Frames and then ran it through my Xyron Create a Sticker so that it would lay nice and flat onto the Rust coloured cardstock. I didn't have a larger border frame, so I used my Brother Scan and Cut to create a border around the die cut. Lastly, to finish off the card, I popped this up using U-Line double-sided tape.

He Gnomes!

I'm so excited about the New Release over at High Hopes Stamps called "Gnome Mania". You really must go check it out! There's something for everyone..... from Christmas to coffee themed to sewing and so much more! I got to use this adorable image called "Checkin' It Twice". And of course you need the sentiment called "He Gnomes" that matches perfectly!

I made a CAS card design today to show off the main image! I started by stamping my image onto some Copic friendly paper and then coloured it in using my Copic Sketch markers. A bit of paper from the My Favourite Things "Cheerful Plaid" 6x6 collection, some twine and enamel dots finish off the card. I hand fussy cut out "Santa" and popped him up with some foam squares.

GNOME MANIA! - November's New Release - Brewin' A Cup Gnome

Howdy - MichelleO here today - Have you heard the news? There is a new release at High Hopes Stamps! GNOME MANIA!!  And they are just too much fun! 

For my first card with the Gnomes I had a little caffeine! This is "Brewin' A Cup Gnome" - I just think he is too great with his pot of coffee brewin! 

 

I colored with my Copics ( colors below ) and then went to town finding paper for a bit of manly coffee feel to it. I think these patterns from My Minds Eye work well for making a fresh hot cup of coffee! 

 

The layers are sewn down onto a bright green and brown card stock. Then I used the new sentiment that just works perfectly with this little Gnome - "Have a brew-ti-ful day!" Absolutely love that! Sewed that down on to some of the same pattern papers. Love warm feeling and simple feel of this one. And I can think a bunch of people that would love to get this one!
