Your Best Miles are Still Ahead

Welcome Everyone;

Now that things are beginning to look up, we can look forward to some leisurely peaceful summer drives in the country and to the beach.   I remember the Beetle from growing up.  These cars may be small, but they certainly got you places.

For today's card, I have used Beetle Bug 1 from the Mix It Up release and paired it up with Best Miles;  which both have been sprung from the High Hopes Stamps Vault.  After colouring the samped image with Copic Markers, I used a Double Stitched Rectangle Die to cut it out and mounted it on some Foil from Kaisercraft.  To add the Silver glitter, I used a Nuvo Silver Glitter Marker to colour the area first, then added some Nuvo Silver Sparkle Dust.  I didn't think it was going to stick, but it did.  How long it will last is another story, and time will tell.  I haven't added Sparkle Dust to a card, this way before.  The creative experiment of the day.   Some enamel dots finished off this very CAS card.

 Supplies used:

May your day be filled with more......

Welcome HH Fans;

For today's card, I couldn't decide which one to use.  I decided to show both.  Same stamps, different layout.  I do like the versatility that High Hopes Stamps bring.

After stamping Bubble Love on XPress It Blending Cardstock, I coloured both of them with Copic Markers.  I used different dies for each card, as well as lace, some Pearls from Kaisercraft, and some Zig Wink of Stella added to the bubbles and butterflies finished off the cards.

Egg-Stra Special Easter!

Welcome HH Fans;

It is almost Easter and it will be so different this year due to the pandemic.  Instead of large Easter Egg Hunts, there will be many small ones.

For today's card, I have used the cute and adorable Easter Bunny Stack and paired it with Egg-Stra Special, both which are  from High Hopes Stamps.  After colouring the image with copic markers, I added some Milled Lavender Distress Ink around the image.   I cut some eggs from a small piece of design paper and added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to them. I off-centered the main image on the card and added some twine and enamel dots finished off the card.
