Girls Are A Gift!

Hello!

Introducing "Bessie Boo" from High Hopes Stamps today! Love the look on her face.....she's like oh my hope my hair turns out ok! I just love the curlers in her hair!

I decided to use papers from the Echo Park "Teen Spirit Girl" 6x6 collection. I stamped, cut Bessie out using a Gina Marie Arched Stitched Tag die, and then coloured her using my Copic markers. A few cute layers of paper and a circle tag cut out of paper make my layout today. I tilted Bessie and popped her up with foam squares for a different look. I added Clear Stickles to Bessie's curlers and some matt enamel dots to finish off my card.

The decorated inside has the "Girls Are A Gift" sentiment also from High Hopes Stamps.

Howdy - MichelleO here again today...

Ever have one of those weeks where life just would be nice to stay in PJ's with your hair in rollers and those comfortable cushy house shoes. Mine are on right now!

This is "Bessie Boo" and I think she is just precious.

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and paper pieced the outfit with the papers from First Editions Spring Drop collection to match the card. I found my thread and sewed down my layers of pattern papers on a white card stock base. Three dots of Viva Decor Paint Pen Green for some embellishment to finish it off. I love this image and decided to leave her as the main focus.
