Snow Friends

 I try to let my friends know how much they mean to me on a consistent basis but at Christmas is one of my favourite times to remind them how special they really  are to me. 

This year Christmas will look different for all of us I'm sure and I have been missing being able to give my peeps a hug and will especially miss giving them their Christmas hugs!

"Snowy's Friends" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps just makes me smile, reminds me of my peeps and is a way for me to send a hug in a card to one of them.

I stamped these cuties, coloured them with Copic markers and cut them out using a circle die. I added some Stickles to the white on the scarves (hard to see). 

I kept my design simple and cut a matching cardstock circle using my Fiskars circle cutter. A few sprigs of pine and a sparkly snowflake cut out of a snowflake border were the perfect embellishment along with some matching sparkly ribbon. A stamped sentiment on matching cardstock and some enamel dots finish off my clean and simple design.

Snowy's Friends

Howdy - MichelleO here and this week for High Hopes Stamps we have "Snowy's Friends"  Such an adorable winter image that makes me smile.

 Aren't those happy smiles? Good Tines are better when they are shared! - perfect sentiment from High Hopes Stamps for this card! I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then used DCWV papers in blue shades for this one. I created faux mats around the image and sentiment by using a Copic around the edge.

For a little added embellishment I made three oval dots with Nuvo White.

Snowy's Friends!

Hello!!

It seriously doesn't get any cuter than this! Two of my favourite things......Snowmen and Penguins! My Grandma loved Penguins so any time I see one it just brings but such fond memories of Her! This adorable stamp is from High Hopes Stamps and is called "Snowy's Friends"!

I've had this paper in my stash for awhile and I love that it combines tractional Christmas colours with some black! The papers are from the Brazill Basics Paper Countdown to Christmas 6x6 collection. It's hard to see but there are some Crystal Stickles on each of the characters.

On this card I coloured everything the same but on the Bear I used some of my Copic Solution "0" and a washcloth to make a fur type texture!
