All that is dear!

 Happy Tuesday HH fans!

Today's I'm sharing our sweet image called Gingerbread Friends which I have combined with the sentiment All That Is Dear on the inside.

I love making Gingerbread cookies & houses too BUT I can't eat any of it.  Sadly I'm allergic to every spice that goes into making them.  My children & husband too can always enjoy the bounty so that's a good thing.

I tried to keep up with my non-traditional colours for Christmas again with this card.  I have quite a bit of patterned paper in my stash that fits the bill lol.  

This is the inside of the card.  I made sure the image on the front fully overlapped the back so you couldn't see the sentiments right away.

All That Is Dear

  Is it just me or does the adorable "Peeking Ginger" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps remind you of a seasonal flag hanger or character stocking holder you can get with the hook to hang the stocking by the fireplace and it sits on the mantel? 

I think Ginger is adorable! and I wanted to create a card where she is holding a "sign" with a fun Christmas message.

I stamped the adorable Ginger, coloured her with Copic markers, hand fussy cut her and popped her and the "sign" up with foam dots. I added some gold Nuvo glitter drops to her "icing" for that touch of bling I like to include on my cards. 

Next I stamped the sentiment and cut it to the size I wanted. I went old school and pulled out two gold eyelets to create my "flag" and I used gold thread to "hang" it. My favourite - enamel dots  and some gold thread along the bottom finish off my card.

Happy Holiday Quick Card

Happy Sunday!

Today, I'm stamping with the sweets! Gingerbread, of course! This image is Happy Holidays Quick Card. I colored it up for the front of my card, then stamped out a second of the cute gingerbread man for some accent (two cookies are always better than one!).

In making my card, I took inspiration from the gingerbread. The lace was meant to mimic the icing on the cookie and the gems reminded me of gum drops!

On the inside, of the card I’ve used the verse sentiment All That is Dear.
