September and Back to School

Welcome to September!!

Can you believe another month has passed? Our September theme here at High Hopes Stamps is Fall and Halloween. And, since September means the start of a new school year here, I'm leading off this month with a back to school themed card, using Writing Mouse.

This cutie has been paired with the A+ Kind of Day sentiment. This image and sentiment would be the perfect combo to tuck into your child's lunch box. In fact, that may be where this one goes! I plan to use this great image to make a matching bookmark too.

Check out our daily inspiration here on the High Hopes blog. We've got great ideas to kick start all your wonderful projects! You can also find us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest.

Have a perfectly lovely Sunday and we'll see you again next week with more great inspiration from the talented team at High Hopes Stamps.

Thank You for Teacher

Hello High Hopes Fans!

I have another teacher card to share with you today.
The patterned paper that I used on last weeks card was still lying around on my table so I decided to make another card with it.

This time I used the Mouse Tales stamp.

All the patterned paper is The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.
The ribbon is also from Hobby Lobby.

The image was colored with colored pencils.

The sentiment is Large Script Thank You from High Hopes.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Flippin' for my Teacher

Hello High Hopes Fans!

Kristine here with a super fun card for your favorite teacher!
My favorite teacher is my daughter who teaches 4th grade in Oregon.
It's a very tough profession and I am very proud of her for giving it her all!

So this card was inspired by her.
This adorable image is Writing Mouse from High Hopes Stamps.

I used the Sizzix Rectangle Flip It card die for the card base.

I colored the image with my Tombow USA recycled colored pencils.
I used the "out of the box" technique to cut around the top of the pencil so that it stuck out of the image box.

The sentiment that I used for this card is a High Hopes image but I can't find it in the store right now.
When I do I promise that I will come back to update this post.
In the meanwhile, I think you could use any of these sentiments....Thank you so much,  A is for Apple,  or To teach is to touch.

The polka dot paper is Recollections paper from Michael's.
The school themed paper is The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.
The twine is May Arts and the little apple is a brad from Eyeletoutlet.com
