Friends -- High Hopes Stamps!

Hi  there, I'm back to share a little  friends design using ...
Also stamped up was the adorable sentiment Special Tweet found here!
The image is coloured with Copics, added sewing stitches and some  floral pattern papers too!
I've had the Daisy's for the longest time waiting to be added to a special card.  These pretty petals  were hot glued into place along with added paper leaves that were hand cut card stock in a V shape!
The back of the card has this little Sentiment/Note which is a fun added touch.
I've been trying to add more weight to my cards. Its nice to pick up a heavy card that has substance, so its  extra card stock when ever possible. The inside of the card is decorated and coordinated with the front for a finished look.
This card was decorated from head to toe!
Thanks for peeking! Happy Wednesday :)

Hope you're being inspired to created something pretty!

Flippin' for my Teacher

Hello High Hopes Fans!

Kristine here with a super fun card for your favorite teacher!
My favorite teacher is my daughter who teaches 4th grade in Oregon.
It's a very tough profession and I am very proud of her for giving it her all!

So this card was inspired by her.
This adorable image is Writing Mouse from High Hopes Stamps.

I used the Sizzix Rectangle Flip It card die for the card base.

I colored the image with my Tombow USA recycled colored pencils.
I used the "out of the box" technique to cut around the top of the pencil so that it stuck out of the image box.

The sentiment that I used for this card is a High Hopes image but I can't find it in the store right now.
When I do I promise that I will come back to update this post.
In the meanwhile, I think you could use any of these sentiments....Thank you so much,  A is for Apple,  or To teach is to touch.

The polka dot paper is Recollections paper from Michael's.
The school themed paper is The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.
The twine is May Arts and the little apple is a brad from Eyeletoutlet.com

A New Baby!

It's A Great Day!
Why is it a great day you ask?....... It's a great day because it's my turn to post for High Hopes Stamps! It seems like I know a lot of people who are expecting babies. Is there something in the water around here LOL! So I decided to get a jump on my baby cards and made 2 using the adorable "Precious Cargo" stamp!
I am using baby themed paper from the Tailored Expressions "Double The Joy" 6x6 collection. I inked all the edges of my paper with Tim Holtz Distress ink in Vintage Photo. No glitter this time (wink) just some enamel dots!
I usually decorate the inside of my cards with the scraps from designing my fronts. Designer paper can be expensive so this helps get a lot of value out of the pad. On the inside I stamped the HH sentiment called "Welcome Little One Script".
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E95, R20
Pinks: R81, R83, R85
Blues: B91, B93, B95
Stork: C00, C0, C1, C3
Beak & feet: YR12, YR15

Heidi & Mattie!

Carolina

Good Morning and Welcome,
High Hopes Fans!

For today, I have a beautiful Valentine's card and a Mason Jar full of doggie treats with a matching tag.

This adorable stamp is called "Heidi & Mattie"
and the sentiment is "Be My Valentines!" from High Hopes Stamps.

The image was stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Gansai Tambi watercolors. For sentiment I used Early Espresso ink. For the background I used my Cricut Machine to die cut differents sizes hearts. After my image was dry I add some Glossy Accent. To finished I doodle some dots/lines around the hearts with a White Gelly Roll pen and embellish with hearts adhesives rhinestones.

Find this adorable image and tons more here at High Hopes Stamps!

To created the card, I used the same technique and supplies as the tag!

Early Espresso & Rose Red Cardstock, Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack.
Gansai Tambi watercolors, Embossing Powder, Jute, Hearts Adhesive Rhinestones, Ribbon from my stash, White Gel pen, 3D Foam Tape, Black Archival Ink and VersaMark.

Beach Girl Patti

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Happy Saturday Friends!  Here's a card that may make you feel a little warmer on this very chilly day...
 Lisa

This is Beach Girl Patti (Q028).  Such an adorable image that makes you want to dream about those hot summer days... especially at times like this, when the temperature here in Ontario is in the negative 30s.  Brrrrr!!!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I applied some Glossy Accents on Patti's tube and flippers.  I love the shiny and slightly raised dimension that this gives to the card.

The pattern papers are from Echo Park-That's My Boy 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some SU Dusty Durango and White cardstock.  The image was cut down to a smaller size to better fit this card.   Foam tape was applied under the main image to help focus on Patti.  A YNS Die called Double Stitched Hills was used to cut a wave like background.  The flip flop die comes from Taylored Expressions and a white gel pen was used to highlight the flowers on the flip flops.  To complete this card, a bunch of YNS-Crystal Clear and Mint Green Gumdrops were added.  I hope you like today's card... and also hope you are able to keep warm this weekend!

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - 905, 933, 969, N55, 491, and 990.  Versamark Ink Pad and Black Embossing Powder.

Paper - Echo Park-That's My Boy 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Dusty Durango and White Cardstock.

MiscGlossy Accents, YNS-Crystal Clear and Mint Green Gumdrops, YNS-Double Stitched Hills Die set, Sakura White Gel Pen, Water BrushFoam Tape and Glue Dots.

Myron Monkey's Heart Balloon

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Happy Friday! Today's post is a special one for me...this Sunday on Valentine's Day, my oldest child celebrates his "Sweet 16"!  Wow--where do the years go????  I wanted a card that was masculine and a little Valentine-ish, yet more Birthday-ish--so here's what I came up with...
 Jane

This is Myron Monkey's Heart Balloon (M149).  Such a fun and adorable image...I really hope Mike likes it.  Some days, I think he is part monkey, in the way he moves around the equipment and farm - LOL!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I glued down the die cut numbers - "16" on the balloon, then applied some Glossy Accents on top.

The main image was die cut using a rectangle stitched die and layered with SU Chocolate Chip cardstock.  A strip of SU Alpine stitched ribbon was placed under the layered image.  The designer paper is from Bo Bunny-Safari 6x6 paper pad, along with SU Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Garden Green and White Cardstock.  Foam tape was used under the main image to add some dimension.  The sentiment was cut using SU Very Vanilla cardstock from an Elizabeth Craft Die called Happy Birthday.  For some embellishments, I went for a "jungle" type of look by adding parts from a Memory Box die called Swaying Palm Die.  I just used the leaves of the palm tree for decorating the two corners of the main image.  To complete this card, a couple of brown buttons were placed on top of the palm leaves to give it a coconut-kind of look.

Supplies Used:

Glow Bugs

                                  Happy Thursday High Hopes fans!

We have had an extremely mild, snowless winter this year compared to "normal" which puts me in the mood for spring and summer and all things warm and bright!

Today I am using Jenny's Glow Bugs  from High Hopes Stamps. She is just too cute and has put alot of hard work into catching these bugs!

                                                      Donna

I started by colouring my image with alcohol markers and using a stitched oval die to cut it out. I chose some bright fun spring paper from Little Yellow Bicycle, and you can't see it in the photo but the flower, bow and bug wings have some clear Wink of Stella added to them. The oval is edged with antique linen distress ink, some brads, ribbon and a dragon fly charm finish off my card. I also added a flower border for some added texture. A sentiment will be included on the inside when I have an event I need the card for.
