Harvest Mice!

Hi HH Fans!
Wow I can't believe Fall is right around the corner and the kids have gone back to school this week! Where did the summer go? It's my turn today to share a card with you over on the High Hopes and One Crazy Stamper Blogs. The Design Team is doing a "Anything Goes" theme and I decided to use the High Hopes "Harvest Mice" stamp!
"Harvest Mice" is one of my favourite Fall stamps! I just love these cuties and the pumpkin they are leaning on! I chose papers form the Echo Park "Fall Is In the Air" 6x6 collection. I love the warm colours of this line! I added some ribbon, bow and a die cut banner as the accents on my card this time.
I also decorated the inside of my card and used the High Hopes sentiment called "If Friends Were Pumpkins".
Copics Used:
Mice: C1, C2, C3, C5/ E51, E53, E55
Pumpkin: YR12, YR14, YR16, YR18/ YG95, YG97

Baby dragon

Happy Sunday!

I don't know that many people who are expecting a baby, but I'd like to keep a few baby card ready just in case.. It's just an excuse to play with this cute stamp, hahaha..

For this card I used a lot of layers (I like that style). All Bazill Basics cardstock, white, green, blue and kraft and a tiny stroke of dessinpaper from my scraps stash. I used a little heart die for the cute green hearts and a light and dark blue pearl maker for the dots.. And it wasn't too hard to find a matching green yarn (whahahaha, scrap paper and yarn hoarder! )

I hope you like this card, thanks for stopping by and be sure to check in regular on this blog for a lot of inspiration from the Dream Team!

# School Is Cool

Next week the kids will be going back to school. As you can imagine both the parents and the kids have mixed feelings about this.
My neighbour's 4 year old will be starting junior kindergarten. She is excited and nervous all at the same time - understandable right?!

My card today features Mary J Teacher Angel from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. The card colours are not traditional school colours but I wanted to try something different.......and I didn't have school themed paper in my paper stash - gasp! so I had to step outside the box and challenge myself to find a way to use what I did have.

I coloured sweet Mary J with alcohol markers and fussy cut her. I chose my lined background paper - appropriate for school right?! and used the school background stamp to create my patterned paper. A letter edge die helped on the edge of one piece to keep my school theme. All the edges are inked with matching ink. Next I designed and printed my sentiment on my computer and cut it out with a fishtail banner die. It is hard to see in the photo but I added some clear sparkle pen to her wings. Some simple twine and matching gumdrops finish off my card.

Bossie's Bad Mood

Howdy - MichelleO here today and I have been looking at my older High Hopes over the last few weeks, and have been pulling out a few favorites to play with and I don't know why but "Bossie's Bad Mood" just seemed to call out to me.. maybe a little relating? LOL

I can SO relate to Bossie... So I decided to have Bossie sit on a "Bale O'Hay".. I have the "Farm Fence" as well, but honestly do you think a Cow can climb a fence to sit on it? No me either... LOL

Colored with my copics (colors below) and then added some sparkle with Nuvo Sparkle Markers. Cuz cows love bling.

I found some older My Minds Eye papers that were fun along with a cream and black colored card stock for bases. Those yummy swirls are a Spellbinder's die cut that I layered under Bossie. Needed swirls along with the bling. The sentiment "Waiting for Heifer" as I just love it and matches up so well with Bossie and her attitude. Three Nuvo Dots in the corner and I love how fun this one is.

Copic markers used -

You just must click over right now to the High Hopes Stamps website and see all the fun there! Old and New there is just so much to create with!

Hope you have a great day - and in a much happier mood than Bossie -

Thanks so much

Happy Halloween!

Hello My Friends!
It's Tuesday so that means it's my turn to post over on the High Hopes and One Crazy Stamper Blogs! The theme this month is Fall/ Halloween, so I've chosen the oh so adorable "Witchy Poo with Kitty Frame" to make my card with.
I started by first making my background for my card base. I just got the YNS "Funky Line Panel Die" and thought it would be perfect for "Witchy Poo". I pulled out my stash of older Doodlebug Halloween paper and added strips for a fun background. Then I coloured my image to match my paper choices. A few spider webs complete with cute green spiders and a bow were my embellishments this time. I added Yellow Stickles to the moon and stars. The sentiment is also from HH and is called "Simple Halloween".
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: YR07, YR09
Blacks: N5, N7, N9
Outfit: YG21, YG23, YG25/ V01, V04, V05, V06, V09
Frame: E43, E47
