Tutorial - Coloring with Distress Inks by Sirpalina

Hello High Hopes Fans!!
We're back with another Tutorial Tuesday!

Before we get to the tutorial, I wanted to quickly mention that I will be back later with the information about the release next week.

In the mean time, this week the fabulous Sirpa has created a
tutorial on coloring using Distress Inks.
Here she is...

I start by coloring the light areas first, then the darker areas....
1. First I colored all brown colors with Antique linen

2. I colored edges with Tea Dye

3. I colored outer edges (darkest areas) with Vintage Photo

4. I colored nose tip, cheecks and ears with Worn Lipstick

5. I colored nose and ear edges with Fired Brick

6 I colored carrot with Spiced Marmalade and carrot leafs with Shabby Shutters

7 I colored carrot edges with Rusty Hinge and shaded carrot leafs with Peeled Paint

I hope these tips were useful for somebody, thank you for reading.

Great coloring technique! I've been wanting to try coloring with Distress Inks. What kind/brand of water color paper did you use? Most tutorials fail to state the paper used for good results. Thank you!

Well done on the colouring. So just a normal paint brush dipped into the pad, huh you would have thunk it!
