Today I'm here to share our sweet image called Bird Watch....isn't this little bear the cutest?!  

I'm on a roll getting birthday cards back into my stash, you can just never have enough.  I wanted something bright & cheerful. I picked some patterned paper with a bunch of tiny little flowers on it & a matching paper that looks like waves.

A Bird Told Me

 Like most crafters I know, I can never have too many Birthday cards in my stash. My post today is just such a card and it features "Bird Watch" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. 

How adorable is this bear peeking over the bird bath to chat with his bird friend! He just makes me smile and I hope the person who receives the card does too. 

After stamping this cutie I coloured it using Copic markers, hand fussy cut him and ran a black marker on the outside of the stamp to get any white I had missed. Patterned paper from Craft Consortium was perfect for my background to add a few puffy clouds and a couple strips of grass. I stamped the sentiment, cut it to size and mounted it on matching card stock.

Some enamel dots finish off my card.

Bird Watch

Hello High Hopes Fans

Are you looking for a birthday card for that special someone??? Well, I am excited to share with you another card I recently made, using an older, yet adorable High Hopes Stamp!

This is Bird Watch (S134) and Bird Told Me (F251) sentiment.  Such a cute stamp and so fun to colour!!!  

I coloured Bird Watch with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added some Glossy Accents to the little bird's beak (a bit difficult to see this in this picture), the water, and the bear's nose.  Some blue ink was sponged lightly around the image and around the sentiment, after it was cut down to size. The sentiment was also heat embossed with black embossing powder.  Foam tape was applied to both the image and the sentiment to add some dimension.  To complete this design, a Viva Pearl Pen (Anthracite) was used to add small dots in various spots around the card.

Supplies Used:

Ink - Tombow Markers - N60, 491, 055, 985, 192, 528, 533, N95, N55, N15, 942, and 977. Versamark Ink Pad, Black Embossing Powder, and SU Blue Bayou Ink Pad for lightly sponging edges of image and sentiment.

Paper - BasicGrey - Adrift 6x6 Paper Pad, SU Black & Blue Bayou Cardstock.

Misc - Glossy Accents, Viva Decor Pearl Pen - Anthracite, Sponge Daubers, Water Brush, Foam Tape, and Glue Dots.
