Precious Nativity

Howdy - MichelleO here today. This week for High Hopes Stamps I picked a very sweet special image. I love the warmth and feeling of this image. This is "Precious Nativity" it is a perfect Christmas image for your cards.

I wanted to keep most all the focus of this card on the image - not the papers and such. So I tried to keep it simple. As simple as I can anyway, I tend to go off track and keep doing more and adding more. This image is colored with my Copics (colors below) and then cut out with a Spellbinders die. The edges are inked with Ranger distress ink to give a warmer vintage feel. The pattern papers are from Making Memories, and I liked the music paper with the sentiment from High Hopes Stamps "Away in a manger

You know you have the song going on in your head - I know I did coloring and putting this all together. A gingham bow on top just for a little embellishment.

This image just makes me happy!

Copic colors used -

No matter what direction you want to go with your holiday cards. High Hopes Stamps has got you covered. Or you can just go crazy and make lots of different cards!

Hope you enjoyed -

Precious Nativity!

Good morning friends,
Today I'm going to share with you another stunning stamp called "Precious Nativity" and "Away In The Manger" from Highhopesstamps.com.

Because this is such a special image, I wanted to keep this card design really simple to show off how beautiful it's. I stamped image with alcohol marker and cut it with a stitched square die. Add some details with a Gelly white pen, also distress the edges with some distress ink. Cut a second square using black glitter cardstock. For my third panel I used 12X12 paper pad called "Christmas Plaids" from Craftsmart. Not a lot of embellishments right!

Image is colored with Copics;
skin E000 E51
Joseph B93 B95 B99 E23 E25
Mary R27 R29 R59 C9
Baby Jesus YG95 YG97
donkey W3 W5 C1 C7 C9
sheep C1
barn E23 E25
hay E31 E33

Here is a close up!
To finish I stamped the sentiment with Memento ink and distress the edges.

Don't forget to check Facebook and Instagram for more amazing inspirations.
Have a BLESS day!

Precious Nativity

Howdy - MichelleO here today and we are still having some fun with the Christmas in July. And to end the month I decided that Precious Nativity is just the perfect Christmas image.

Love how precious .. "Precious Nativity" so sweet and you know I love that donkey! I colored with my Copics (colors below) matching it up with papers from Authentique Grateful collection. I sewed down the layers with a zig zag stitch, then I added the adhesive lace with punches from Martha Stewart leaf punches and then lots mulberry roses. It seemed to need a little more so I added some Viva Decor Pearl Pen dots for some dew drops.

Copic colors used.
