Here Comes Santa Claus!

Hi and welcome to another Friday post!

For today's card, I have Santa traveling in his non traditional way.  Instead of using his sleigh with Rudolph (he is resting his troop up for the big night), he stopping by on his motorcyle.

I have used the Motorin' by Santa from High Hopes Stamps for today's card.  After colouring him up with Copic Markers, I used a square die cut, and then added some Polar White from Flower Soft to the trim of his suit.  The Dec. 25th element is a wooden shape from BoBunny, that I coloured with a red Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen.  Some YNS gumdrops finished off the design.

Welcome Fall

Hi Everyone;

I can't wait for Fall to come.  It is one of my favourite seasons, and it is colourful with the leaves changing colours, the abundance of pumpkins, Thanksgiving and Halloween.

For today's card, I have used the Wagon Full of Blessings from High Hopes Stamps.  This is a CAS card.  A small piece of Design Paper was used, so that there would be room to add some stenciling on the Kraft cardstock.  I used Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Orange Blush and Inka Gold in Jade to add colour to The Autumn Delight Stickable Stencil from BoBunny.  When I opened the Inka Gold, it had harden over time, so I spritz some water on it which made it usable again. The same can be done with the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse.

The image was coloured with Copic Markers, and some ribbon and enamel dots were added to finish it off.

A Little Rain Must Fall...

Welcome HH fans;

Another week has gone by and there is no doubt that there has been a little or a lot or rain falling in my little world of late.  Last week it was the garage door that needed repairing as the cable snapped, and this week it is a plumbing issue.  What's next -- don't know that I want to know.

While anyway for today's card I have used the adorable Mary Angel from High Hopes Stamps.  Splashing in the puddles is such fun at times.  I  remember the children doing this when they were younger.  I used the Echo Park Raindrops Stencil and the B0000 - Pale Celestine Copic Marker to create the raindrops. A clear Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Pen was then used to add a bit of glitter to the raindrops.

Supplies used:
  • Stamps:  Mary Angel and A Little Rain Must Fall (High Hopes Stamps)
  • Ink:  Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Paper:  XPress It Blending Cardstock, DP - Rainbow, Watercolor (Lawn Fawn)
  • Copic Markers:  Skin: E0000 - Floral White, E000 - Pale Fruit Pink, E00 - Skin White, R20 - Blush, Hair: E53 - Raw Silk, E51 - Milky White, E50 - Egg Shell; Coat:  G02 - Spectrum Green, G000 - Pale Green, G00 - Jade Green; Pants: V20 - Wisteria, V22 - Ash Lavender; Umbrella & Boots: Y38 - Honey, Y35 - Maize, Y32 - Cashmere, E37 - Sepia, E39 - Leather; Wings:  BG01 - Aqua Blue, BG000 - Pale Aqua, BG0000 - Snow Green; Puddle: B00 - Frost Blue, B000 - Pale Porcelain Blue, B0000 - Pale Celestine
