Gardener Bunny is ready....

Welcome Everyone;

It seems that winter has returned even though spring arrived a few weeks ago.  It has been cold with some snow making a rather unwanted appearance.

Never fear, as Gardener Bunny from High Hopes Stamps appears to have started gardening. He already has a fresh bunch of carrots from the vegetable patch. There is nothing better than fresh vegetables from your own garden.

This card is a very CAS one.  After colouring the image with Copic Markers, I used the Double Stitched Rectangle from Gina Marie Designs to cut it out.  It was mounted on a piece of Spring plaid from Lawn Fawn.  Some Twine and YNS Gumdrops finished it off.

Butterfly Kisses!!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I used Bessie Buggies Bloom - S173 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main image and Butterfly Kisses - D007 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment. Bessie is all set for Spring and flowers blooming. I'm not very good with flowers, but my husband has a green thumb and is really good at keeping our flower garden looking beautiful every year.

To make this card I started off with a base card of 6" x 6". I fell in love with this background paper as it suited the sentiment and the darling little butterfly "Bessie" so well. I tried to colour Bessie's wings and outfit to match the colours of the other butterflies in the background.

Once the image was coloured, I added some Wink of Stella - Clear to the wings. Unfortunately, it doesn't show up in the picture. I die cut the finished image using my Cuttlebug and circle dies and then I die cut a black circle to layer it onto. I thought this made the image pop. I stamped the sentiment and also layered that onto some black cardstock. I then popped up the sentiment and the image with 3M VHB - 2 sides tape. To finish off the card, I inked around all of the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Pine Needles.

Card Recipe:

Stamp: Bessie Buggies Bloom - S173 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)
Sentiment: Butterfly Kisses - D007 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)
Inks: Memento - Tuxedo Black, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Pine Needles
Paper: Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card, Postcards from Paris II - Webster's Pages - 6" x 6"
Die Cuts: Lifestyle Crafts Cutting Dies - Nesting Circles
Tools: MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool, Cuttlebug, 3M VHB - 2 sided tape

Curious Bunny!

Hi everyone,
Today I have a super cute Spring/Easter card to share with you!

I stamped "Curious Bunny" with Tuxedo black ink and used Prismacolor pencils to coloured. I add  glitter stickles to this lovely image. Once the stickles dry, I die cut it with a stitched rectangle. That pretty heart die is from my stash. For embellishment I adhesive tiny flower from "The Paper Studios" The pattern paper is "Spring Flower" from Echo Park.

This is how the inside looks!
This lovely sentiment is called "Easter Greeting" from High Hopes Stamps. I stamped it and cut it in a banner. Hope you are all healthy and safe during this trying time!

Just three little words.....Hang In There!

Happy Saturday everyone!

Today I wanted to share a little bit of encouragement & inspiration with everyone.  Just 3 little words...."Hang In There".  It's a very difficult world for all right now so this week I picked Juliettes Leap of Faith.  This card is quite simple but I think it will brighten someone's day.

I used an older Bo Bunny patterned paper with adorable hot air balloons for the matting.  I know if I was in a hot air balloon I would be wearing a parachute....just in case lol.

I stamped Juliette & fussy cut her out...it's wasn't too difficult at all.  I black lined around the edges with my Memento Tuxedo Black after I cut her out.

I created the little heart boarder across the bottom with an older Martha Stewart punch, I actually don't even recall every using it before...I think we all have things in our stash that haven't been used.  Couldn't resist this week just had to add some ribbon & enamel dots too.  I stamped the Hang in There sentiment with Prima Rusty Keys ink.
