Fred!

Happy Tuesday!

Oh my gosh isn't "Fred" from the High Hopes Summer 2020 Release just the cutest dog ever?!! And his name....Fred just suits him perfectly and makes me smile!

I stamped Fred onto some Copic friendly paper and coloured him in with my Copic Sketch Markers. Next I cut him out with a Zig Zag Frame die. I decided to use papers from the Doodlebug "Down On the Farm" 6x6 collection. I added some twine and a Wooden dog house embellishment that I inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I love the "Ruff" sentiment also from High Hopes. It's perfect for Fred to let someone know you're missing them!

Sweetheart Gnome

Howdy - MichelleO here today - and I am playing with New Stamps at High Hopes Stamps again!! And today it is "Sweetheart Gnome" How can you not smile when playing with Gnomes?

I went through lots of my stash of paper to find a a fun whimsical pattern. When I found the hearts from SEI I knew it was perfect for this "Sweetheart Gnome". I colored with my Copics and shaded with pencils. With the SEI papers was a solid dark red card stock and then I found a tan card stock paper for the base and additional mats. To go with that silly feel I used a Spellbinders scalloped die cut.. then everything sewn down with my sewing machine.

The fabulous part about this Gnome is that her sign is blank... then there is a new High Hopes sentiment set "Mini Sentiment Set #1" ... love this set! Comes with "Just for You, Miss You, Happy Birthday, and Love You" All made to fit in the signs of the new Gnomes! So practical for many many cards!

Balloon Gnome

Good morning all,
Today I bring you a birthday card using a couple images from HHS new release!

I stamped " Balloon Gnome" with black ink and colored with alcohol markers. After my image was done I die cut it with a rectangle die and used foam adhesive to give a bit dimension. The paper I'm using is Strawberry Patch from Park Lane.

Miss You!

Hi Everyone;

It seems like it has been forever since this pandemic began and everyone has be at home and confined to home, except for groceries and necessary appointments.

Needless to say, we have all missed our everyday lives as we knew them to be.  No chats with colleagues at work,  not hearing the joys of children playing  and time with our families.

With this in mind, I have used the cute Flower Gnome and Miss You (Part of the Mini Sentiment Set #1) both from the Summer 2020 release for High Hopes Stamps to create this CAS card.

After colouring the stamped image with Copic Markers, I cut it out using the Wonky Stitched Oval Die Set from Gina Marie Designs. Nuvo Crystal Drops were used to create the enamel dots.

Smiling

This spring I had a pair of cardinals move in to one of the trees at the corner of my front porch. They have since moved on but not before having some little ones. It was fun to sit quietly on my porch and watch mom and dad fly back and forth with food for their family. 
When I saw the "Cardinal" in the new release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps I knew I had to colour it up - they are such beautiful birds! They say "when a cardinal appears, a loved one is near" so I'm not sure moved in this spring but I silently smiled every time I saw one of them. 

After colouring this beauty with alcohol markers, I cut it out using a circle die and used my Fiskars circle cutter to cut a matching cardstock backing. I set that aside and chose some patterned paper from Stampin' Up to match the coral flowers. Next I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a fish tail banner die. A few added branches, cotton lace ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.

Speedy Recovery!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I used Walker Walter - TLF013 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) from the new release for the main image and Speedy Recovery Background - U004 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment. I have an older friend in the hospital right now waiting to have an operation and I thought this little card would definitely cheer him up.

To make my card this week, I used Recollections - Cape Cod cardstock for the base card which is 4.25" x 5.5". I stamped both the large background image and Walter using my Misti and Memento - Tuxedo Black ink.

Then I ran the background image through my Cuttlebug using Your Next Stamp - Stitched Rectangle Die Set to die cut it.

Both images were coloured using Copic Markers. I edged around the background image and card base with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Blueprint Sketch. I used my Brother Scan and Cut to cut around "Walker Walter" and then outlined the image with Copic Markers C3 and C1. Next, I ran the image through my Xyron Creative Station and adhered it to some Black cardstock. I again used the Scan and Cut to cut around the image. I thought the border was too large, so I just manually fussy cut around the image leaving a smaller black border around it.

To complete the card, I bumped up both the background and the main image with 3M VHB - 2 sided tape.

Hello and thanks for stopping by! My card today uses the "Tulips For You" stamp set from High Hopes new "Summer 2020" release. I'm so excited about this Release and can't wait to make more cards with it!

I stamped this cutie onto some Copic Friendly paper and coloured it in with my Copic Markers. Next I cut it out with a Gina Marie Feathered Lace rectangle die. My card is 5x5" today instead of my regular 5.5" square I like to use. I kept the design simple, using paper from the Sunny Studios Preppy Prints 6x6 collection. The Sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Smell The Flowers". A nice big bow with a button centre finish off my card.
