Heidi & Mattie - Best Friends

Howdy- MichelleO here! Today is my High Hopes day! And I just had to color up this cutie... this is Heidi and Mattie. They are adorable right?

I colored with my Copics (colors below) - Then cut the image with an oval - My pattern papers are from Heidi Grace. Love the fun sweet feel of these papers. A Martha Stewart border eyelet punch. All sewn down. The sentiment "Best friends" is perfect for the duo! I punched a EK Success tag punch to use as a border for the sentiment.

Copic colors used -

I just love the girlie feel to this one! And I always love the color combo of Purple and Green. Haven't done that in a while. Hope you enjoyed this one. And to see SO MANY wonderful fun image visit the High Hopes Stamps Web Store HERE and fall in love and get some new friends to color for your projects.

Dog Thank You

A couple weeks ago I received a special card request. The question was whether I had a stamp with a dog and girl on it to give to a person's dog care giver. The only other information I had was the care giver had black hair and the dog she took care of was black as well.

I dug through my High Hopes Stamps stash because I knew Heidi & Mattie would be perfect for this request.

I coloured my stamp using Copic markers, hand fussy cut it and ran a black marker around the edge to get any white I had missed. I used a white gel pen to add some shine to the dog's nose and popped them up with foam tape. I chose patterned paper from A Dog's Tail paper pad by Echo Park and cut it to fit my design and layers.

Next I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a fish tail banner die. I added some Stampin' Up ribbon and a paw charm I had in my stash. Some enamel dots finish off my card.

Animal love

Happy Sunday!!

Again a birthday card from me today, but this one is for a very special girl who loves animals!
January and February are busy months with lots of birthdays, and I love to celebrate things!! Life happens and when that does, it makes me enjoy the simple little things (like sending someone a card knowing it makes that person smile) even more...

To make this card, I've used:
*High Hopes Stamps: Heidi & Mattie
* Bazzill Basics white cardstock
*dessinpapers from my stash
*a doily (just order a cake at a restaurant! whahaha)
*photo corners (from a local shop)
*Uniquely Creative alphabet and number dies
*Copic Markers (euh.. forgot to write down the numbers, sorry)

So off to the post office! Let's make someone very happy sending a card! Are you with me??
If you can afford it, just go and do it! Send someone a card, better than all those bills ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Heidi & Mattie

Hi HH Fans!
I'm a big dog fan and have had a dog in my life for as long as I can remember! I think it's wonderful to have pets especially when you have children as the two become best friends! I am using the High Hopes stamp called "Heidi & Mattie". Don't these two look like they are the best of friends?!!
I coloured Mattie up adding some grey spots to her with my Copic Markers. My paper this time is from the Echo Park Just Be You 6x6 collection. I decided to paper piece Heidi's overalls for a fun element! The sentiment "Best Friends Forever" is also from High Hopes and goes perfectly with this image!
Here's an inside view of my card. The sentiment is part of the "Best Friends Forever" stamp. I masked off the stamp and used part of it on the front and the other part on the inside of my card. It's fun to do different things with your sentiments!
Copics Used:
