Welcome High Hopes Stamps Fans;

Hi it's Bev here today ... for Saturday Scrapbook layout projects st High Hopes Rubber Stamps. If you have been visiting me on Saturdays you will see that I am only using stamped images as accents on pages. I try to theme them to photos which makes them a perfect accent. Tommy's Fall Fun!

Hello friends,
For today a have made a clean and simple Thanksgiving card.

I stamped my image with Tuxedo black ink and coloured with alcohol markers. I cut it out using a stitched rectangle die. To give the old distress look I used vintage photo distress ink, wait a few minutes and add gold Fran-tage embossing powder. Now what I did to embellish my card, I used my white gel pen, button and thread from my stash and is all done.

Happy Fall

I can't believe it's Thursday again already!

As I write this post, we are in the middle of a brutal heat wave. We have had temps with humidity feeling into the 40's most of the week. To play with a fall image definitely helped me cool off and it reminded me the cooler, sweater weather is coming!

This week my card features "Tommy's Fall Fun" and the "Happy Fall Y'all" sentiment. I have been known to jump in a pile of leaves the odd time with my nieces and nephews <wink>. I think a pile of leaves brings out the kid in all of us doesn't it?

Close Up

I started by colouring my image with alcohol markers cut it out using a stitched rectangle die. I used some bright, fun paper and added some clouds, a fence and some grass to create my background. I added a big leaf - out of my comfort zone for sure - to the corner and added my sentiment (I only used part of the sentiment and cut it apart). I used a leaf punch to create some more falling leaves and rolled them on a pen to give them a bit of dimension. Adding my favourite - gumdrops - finishes off my card.

Tommy's Fall Fun

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Happy Saturday Friends!  Before too long, some of these will be falling...
 Lisa

This is Tommy's Fall Fun (S079) and part of Happy Fall Ya'll sentiment (G290).  Tommy is having a great time playing in all the leaves!

The image was stamped on Xpress It cardstock with a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad using my Misti Stamping Tool.  The image was coloured with Copic Markers.  Once the colouring was finished, Glossy Accents were applied on the pile of leaves and leaves in the air.  After the gloss was dry, the image was cut down to size and some SU Chocolate Chip ink was sponged on the edges.

For the card base, I chose some SU Chocolate Chip cardstock.  The designer papers are from Prima-Bohemian Bamboo and Bo Bunny-Heritage Collection 6x6 Paper Pads.  Only part of the sentiment was used to create the "Happy Fall", then punched with a SU Tag Punch.  Again, the edges of the sentiment were sponged with SU Chocolate Chip ink.  To complete this card, a bunch of dewdrops (dark vanilla) were added to create some dimension.

Supplies Used:
InkCopic Markers - E23, E27, E31, E35, E51, R39, R59, Y38, YR68, B41 and B95; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.

Fall Fun!

 Happy Terrific Tuesday!
Thanks for stopping by today to see my Fall card using the oh so adorable High Hopes stamp called "Tommy's Fall Fun".  Fall is my favourite time of the year and this image reminds me of when my girls were small and loved to play in the leaves!
I absolutely love the new Doodlebug Fall Friends collection. The colours are so rich and the patterns so cute! I made this A2 card and kept it fairly simple in design. I've always been so inspired by crafters that sew on their cards! I decided to give it a try this time and couldn't believe how easy it was. I was always afraid to sew on my cards but after this....look out sewing machine here I come!
The inside sentiment is also from HH and is called "One Of Those Days".
Copics used:
Skin: E000, E01, E31, R20
Pants & hair: E34, E35, E37
Top: R35, R37, R39, B04, B06
Leaves: Y23, Y26/ YR02, YR04/ E31, E33/ YG91, YG93

Over on the High Hopes Blog we have a new Challenge started called Fall/ Christmas/ Halloween. It's running all month and you have a chance to win 2 High Hopes stamps of your choice! Head on over to the blog for all the details.

Tommy's Fall Fun

Hello High Hopes Fans

Saturday is finally here and before you know it, Fall will be too!  Yikes!!!  Here is another one of my cards to share with you!
Lisa

This is Tommy's Fall Fun (S079) and sentiment from Sentiment Set #3.  Such an adorable stamp - I just love the fall colours!

This is my second attempt using Tombow markers and water.  I really enjoyed using them on my last card!  So don't be afraid to try new techniques on your cards!

I started by applying Versamark Ink on my stamp, stamped it, then sprinkled Black Embossing Powder on, and heated it.  The colours of Tombow Markers I used on Tommy and the leaves were:  969, N60, 491, 925, 098, 837, 985, 977, 942, 761, 850, and 847.  Once the image was all coloured and dry, some SU Chocolate Chip ink was lightly sponged around the edges of the image.  Glossy Accents was applied to the leaves to make the card a little sparkly and shiny.  Four additional leaves were stamped and coloured, then fussy cut out to be glued around the image.  Foam tape was applied to pop out the layered image for some added dimension on this card.  Spellbinders - Petite Oval Large and Small dies were used to cut the sentiment.  The designer paper is from Carta Bella - Fall Blessings 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some SU Chocolate Chip & White cardstock.  A SU Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon was also added under the main image to complete this card.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
