Party Time Robot

Good morning friends, 

I hope you are doing well. Today I'm so exciting to be sharing this fun birthday card with you!

For today I'm using "Party Time Robot"  and the sentiment is "Transmitting Birthday Wishes" both images are from highhopesstamps.com

I stamped "Party Time Robot"  and coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut it leaving a small border. Also add glitter stickles to his body and pop it with foam tape. This is one of my favorite dies called "ScallopedBnrDie" from AE. After I die cut the flag I used an embossing folder. Distress it with black ink so we can see the emboss. The pattern paper is from my stash.

I finish my card by adding yellow candy dots. I love this cute image just perfect for any boy birthday cards. Hope you have enjoy my card today.

Power Surges..............

Welcome Everyone;

There are definitely some days, that I wish I could be lounging around like Lizzy is doing.  It seems the older I'm getting, I'm falling apart.  Besides  moving in a slow mode, power surges have taken the place of hot flashes lol!

For today's card, I have used Loungin' Lizzy from High Hopes Stamps.  After stamping the image, I coloured it with Copic Markers, and then cut it out using the Spellbinders A@ Matting Basics A die.

Some ribbon and YNS enamel dots finished off this CAS card.

Warm Birthday Wishes

This week I am having some fun with "Warm Wishes" from High Hopes to make a birthday card for one of my brothers. We are all at the age where we need more then three candles on our cake, so why not call on your favourite dragon to light the "large" amount of candles we will need this year to light them all at once!?!

I coloured up this fun stamp with alcohol markers and hand fussy cut him leaving a thin white edge. I cut my background pieces to fit my design and used a die cut to cut the balloons. I tried a couple of matching colours for the inset balloons but they just didn't look right so I went with the same colour. 
It is hard to see in the photo but I added clear sparkle pen to the balloons to get the touch of bling I like to add to my cards if I can. 
I stamped the sentiment and mounted it on matching cardstock. I love how the letters are slanted - it looks like the wind from the dragons fire is blowing them around! 
Some matching ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.

Gone Fishing!

It’s Wednesday, and this week I used Anthony James - R022 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main image and Gone Fishing Sign - G103 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment.

I come from a family that LOVES fishing. My dad has always loved fishing and now my older brother has fallen into his foot steps of loving to fish too. I remember going fishing with my dad and I thought I had a really, really big fish. We were all so excited until I pulled up a big chunk of grass reeds. LOL! The fish were jumping all around us, but we couldn't seem to catch any that 1 day.

As soon as we were back on shore, you could see the huge fish playing all over the lake. I think they were just laughing at us. But I'm not a 100% sure. LOL!

To make the card, I first used Your Next Stamp - Stitched Rectangle Die Set (YNSD214) to cut out the main image from Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card and My Creative Time - Stitched Squares Inside and Out to die cut the square out of some white cardstock. Then I used my MISTI and Memento - Tuxedo Black Ink to get a nice crisp image. I used various Copic markers listed below to colour in the image.

I decided to colour in the fish with PrismaColor pencils on the sentiment.

Next I ran both the coloured image and the sentiment through my Xyron Creative Station and placed both cuts over top of some green cardstock. Then I popped both up using 3M VHB - 2 sided tape.

The base of the card is 5.5" x 5.5". I edged around the card and sentiment with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Bundled Sage. For a final touch, I added a little fish under the sentiment.

Retirement!

Hello!

My Hubby is so jealous of this guy, "Retired Raymond" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps! Hubby still has a few more years to work and there's nothing he'd rather be doing then golfing 5 (or 7 lol) days a week in the nice weather. This image makes a nice Retirement or male birthday card. Retired Raymond actually looks a lot like our neighbour Steve, who also loves golfing. I think this card will be going to him for sure.

I started by stamping "Retired Raymond" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured him to match my papers with Copic Sketch Markers. I die cut the image and then went ahead and masked off the image. Using Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and a Mini Cloud Stencil, I created my sky background. The image is popped up on the card with foam squares for added dimension. I decided to use the High Hopes "Retirement" sentiment but birthday wishes would work just as well. A bit of twine and a few enamel dots finish off my card.

Dragon Go Round

Howdy - MichelleO here for High Hopes Stamps, this week I went for some fun... a little "Dragon Go Round" How can you not have fun with a dragon on a carousel horse?

Now I wanted to go bold and colorful so I started with pencils and then went for my Copics (colors below) Then I added some white Nuvo paint for some dots on the dragon's saddle. I love how bright it turned out. I then found papers from Making Memories that have a glitter to them. This guy has to have more glitter! I then sewed all the layers down with straight and zig zag stitches. The High Hopes Stamps sentiment "Are we there yet?" seemed like a fun sentiment for this guy going around in circles!

Bundle Of Joy!

HELLO Friends, 
For today I am sharing a couple babies cards using "Just Bein' Nosy" and the sentiment "Bundle Of Joy" both images from High Hopes Stamps!

 This image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and a pending pen. Add diamond stickles to his diaper and teddy s bow. Die cutting was so much fun guys. I used a few of my dies for both of my cards. The pattern paper are  from my stash. Love how the pink and gold look in this baby girl card with white accent. To finish this card I added pink rhinestones. 

Again I used Prismacolor pencils to colored and diamond stickles on his diaper and teddy's bow. I pop my main images and starts with foam tape. For this card I used different shades of blue, silver, cream and white. Which color is your favorite?  Hope you have enjoy my cards today.
