Live Life!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I'm sharing a card I made from the High Hopes Rubber Stamps "Mix It Up Release"  using Sports Car 1 - SS048 for the main image and Live Life - GG037 for the sentiment! It would be great to win a lottery and drive something similar to this awesome car! Then, I could rent a race track and speed around it. That would be sooooo much fun! LOL!

To make my card this week, I stamped the image and sentiment using my MISTI and Memento - Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card. I coloured in the image with Copic markers and then fussy cut around it and set it aside. A piece of Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card was cut to the size of 5.5" x 4.25" for me to create my background. The background was also coloured in with Copic markers. Next, I die cut the background using my Cuttelbug and My Creative Time - Rectangle Frame Layers. The sentiment was die cut with Waffle Flower - Nesting Square dies and for the outer square, My Creative Time -Stitched Squares Inside and Out die was used. Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Chipped Sapphire was used to ink around the edges of both squares.

To assemble the card, 3M VHB - 2 sided tape was attached to the backs of the car image, sentiment and larger blue square. The background coloured image was adhered directly to the base card of The Paper Studio - Primary Simply Solids (4.25" x 5.5"). The car and the sentiment were than attached onto the main background.

Let's Go On A Journey!

Hi!
Don't you just love old vintage cars? I love it when you see them out driving, they always get lots of stares! Where I live we have a car show every August called "Moparfest. It's the biggest all Mopar show in Canada and people come from all over to show their cars or to see the sights! I think High Hopes "Vintage Car" would be perfect in that show!

I stamped and coloured my image with Copic Markers and then die cut it using a Stitched Fishtail die. I matted my card base with black, red and then paper from the Authentique "Everlasting" 6x6 collection. The HH sentiment "Journey" goes perfectly with this car, that is perfect for just going out cruising around. Some rick rack ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.
Copics Used:

Vintage Classic

Howdy - MichelleO here today... Vroom Vroom! This week for High Hopes Stamps I drove out another fun car from the vault! The Mix it Up Release is some of the favorites that were retired and now have been released again! This "car" is Vintage Classic -

How fun is this image for a car lover? I colored the car with my Copics (colors below) and went with a creamy yellow color and a little rust as it is a loved older car. I then went through my pattern papers and found this paper from Cosmo Cricket ... I adore grey and yellow together! And it worked perfect for my classic car! I sewed down the layers and put on a grey card stock base for my card. The sentiment is also from the Mis it Up release - "Best Miles" Great for this classic car don't you think? I punched it out with a large EK Success punch and then went around it with a dark grey Copic as a faux mat. I added it to the card and then added six enamel dots - love enamel dots too! LOL

Copic colors used -

Imagine.......

Hi Everyone;

Welcome to another release from the High Hopes Stamps Vault.  This month the Divas are using stamps from the Mix It Up Release.  There is definitely something for everyone in this release.

For today's card, I have used the adorable Butterfly Fairy stamp.  After stamping it on copic marker friendly paper, and colouring the image, I cut it out using one of Spellbinders Matting Basic Die Sets.

The design paper is an old paper pack from my stash. Some Diamond Stickles was added to the Fairy's wings as well as to the flower centers.   Some butterflies were cut out using a piece of Shimmer Sheetz from Elizabeth Crafts.  Some Lace and enamel dots finished off this card.

A New Adventure

I have a little man in my life who makes me smile and keeps me young! I met him a couple days after he was born and this adorable, strong little man is growing fast. He is a typical boy - loves anything with wheels, biking and jumping on the trampoline. I do have to admit he is a little hard to keep up with <wink>

Fire Truck from the vault opening and the "Mix It Up" release at High Hopes reminds me of this little guy because ... well.....it has wheels! The New Adventure sentiment reminds me of him because I don't know how, but in September he is old enough to start school! Not sure how the little's in our lives always grow so fast. This card was made for him for his first day of school as his new adventure begins....

After stamping the fire truck I coloured it with Copic Markers, hand fussy cut it and ran a black marker around the edge to get any white I had missed. After setting him aside I chose some patterned paper from a Christmas Photo Play pad and matching card stock. Next I found some lighter grey card stock in my scrap pieces bin and cut it to fit my card base.
I created the "fire station" by inking up a brick stencil with London Fog Memento ink and cut the doors out using a square die. To add some texture to the doors, I used my score board to add some lines to them. I printed the Fire Station #2 from my computer, stamped the sentiment and cut it to size.
The fire station sign, sentiment and fire truck are added with 3D foam pop dots to add some dimension. Twine and enamel dots finish off my card.

Fairy Garden!!

It’s Wednesday, and this week, I'm sharing a card I made from the High Hopes Rubber Stamps "Mix It Up Release"  using Fairy Garden - TT141 for the main image and Leave Room - LL015 for the sentiment! I love movies and reading books about Fantasy! It's always so much fun to get lost in the moment, just like these little fairies are enjoying their little magical garden!

To make my card this week, I started out with a base card using AC Cardstock - White at the size of 6" x 6". I thought this paper by Graphic45 - Unique Papercrafting - Fairie Dust Collection - Moonlit Blooms went so well with the sentiment and the garden, so I die-cut it using my Couture Creations - Go Power and Emboss and Creative Expression Craft Dies by Sue Wilson - Noble Dies - Double Pierced Squares - Set B. I used double-sided tape and attached it directly to the base.

The image and sentiment were both stamped using my MISTI and Memento - Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured in the image with Copic markers and then fussy cut around it and the sentiment. I ran both pieces through my Xyron Creative Station to make them into stickers and so that they would lie completely flat when I attached them to some pieces of Recollections - Black cardstock. Once again, I fussy cut around the coloured image and sentiment. 3M VHB - 2 sided tape was attached to the backs of the image and sentiment and were applied directly to the background of the card to finish it off.

Card Recipe:

Stamp: Fairy Garden - TT141 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)
