Gingerbread Dreams!

Happy Tuesday!
It's all about Christmas this July over at High Hopes! I always love doing "Christmas in July" cards as it motivates me to get started on my own personal Xmas cards. I'm in love with this cutie called "Lg. Gingerbread Man", he looks good enough to eat LOL. I matched him with the "Gingerbread Dreams" sentiment, I mean I will be dreaming of gingerbread now! I might just have to make some today!
On my card today, I used the Craftin' Desert Diva's "Fancy Frames" die set for my paper layers. The fun and bright papers are from the Doodlebug "Night Before Christmas" 6x6 collection. They have the best collections for fun and bright cards. I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured him in with my Copic Sketch markers. Next I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut out my image and popped him up with foam squares for added dimension to my card! I added some "ric rac" pink ribbon, enamel dots and some Crystal Stickles on the icing to finish off this fun card!
Here's the decorated inside with a little bit of the Gingerbread Man sticking up on the bottom.
Copics Used:
Gingerbread man: E11, E13, E15, E17, E29, R24, B24
Candies: R24, R29
Bow: RV04, RV06, RV09
Icing: YG03, YG17

Gingerbread Family!

Hello!
I'm popping in today with an adorable card made with the High Hopes image called "Gingerbread Family In Heart"! I've fallen in love with the Gingerbread designs Lora has in the shop! They all are absolutely adorable and this family is one of my fav's!
To start, I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and coloured the image to match the papers in the Photoplay "Not A Creature was Stirring" 6x6 collection. Then taking a stitched heart die, cut out the image. I popped the image up with foam squares for added dimension. I used the HH "Gingerbread Dreams" sentiment. Some ribbon, a bow, gingerbread gem, enamel dots and Stickles finish off my card.
Copics Used:
E33, E35, E37
Y23, Y26, BG75, BG78

Gingerbread Dreams!

Hi!
I haven't made a "stair step" card in forever and decided that this would be perfect to pair with the High Hopes Stamp "Gingerbread Friends" and "Gingerbread House" images. This brings back memories of my Mom making Gingerbread Houses every year with my girls. I have to admit that ours never looked this pretty, more "goopy" and loaded with anything and everything LOL. But they sure had fun doing them.
To start, I stamped and coloured all my images to match the papers in the Doodlebug "Christmas magic" 6x6 collection. Next using my Brother Cut N Scan machine I cut out the images. Then I pulled out my Cameo and a svg file and created the Side Stair Step card base. I enlarged the file to fit the larger Gingerbread Friend image. I added a fence die cut in front of the Gingerbread House to create a little scene. The lollipops have some Clear Glitter Pen added to them and of course I had to add some Crystal Stickles to "icing" parts on both images.
Here's a side view where you can see the "stair steps" better. I thought the High Hopes "Gingerbread Dreams"sentiment went perfectly with my card theme!
I stamped an extra house and coloured in just the lollipops and little gumdrops, fussy cut them out with scissors and added on the first "step" to help create a more dimensional look.
Copics Used:
Gingerbread: E33, E35, E37
Reds: R24, R27, R29
Greens: G28, YG17, YG23, YG25
Yellows: Y21, Y23, Y26
Pinks: RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09
Blue Greens: BG13, BG18, BG34

Gingerbread Dreams!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Christmas. YAY!!!  This week, I used Gingerbread House (S159) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and Gingerbread Dreams (E061) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment.

To make this card I stamped the Gingerbread House image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using Memento - Tuxedo Black ink and my MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool in order to give me a nice crisp image. I coloured in the image with a little guidance from Kit and Clowder's Gingerbread house video created by Alyce. For the snow and candies, you can't see it in this photo, but I used Spectrum Noir - Crystal Clear Sparkles. Once I finished colouring in the image, I fussy cut around it. I also stamped out the sentiment and fussy cut around that as well.

Next I used the Gingerbread Chain punch from Creative Memories to cut out my little gingerbread men and then used Gelly Roll Sakura #10 Pen to create the icing and a dab of Copic Marker #29 for the cheeks.

For the assembly of the card, I used 6" x 6" AC Autumn Cardstock for the base. I had a piece of Hot Buy Craft Smart - Holiday Glitz Glitter Paper from a previous project that I had worked on and layered this on top of the Gingerbread men paper from Doodlebug Design Inc. - Milk and Cookies.
Lastly I used 3M VHB - 2 sided tape to pop up all of the images and sentiment. I added in the little red embellishments to represent the little gingerbreads dreaming of their wonderful gingerbread house. LOL!

Card Recipe:

Stamp: Gingerbread House (S159) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)

Sentiment: Gingerbread Dreams (E061) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)

Inks: Memento - Tuxedo Black

Paper: Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card, Hot Buy Craft Smart - Holiday Glitz Glitter Paper 12" x 12", AC Autumn Cardstock 12" x 12", Doodlebug Design Inc. - Milk and Cookies 6" x 6".

Tools: MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool, Cuttlebug, Spectrum Noir - Sparkles - Crystal Clear, Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen, Creative Memories - Gingerbread Chain Border Maker Cartridge

Image coloured with Copic Markers:

Gingerbread House: E37, E35, E33, E31, Y21

Icing and Snow: BV31, BV1, BV000

Red: R29, R27, R24, R22

Green: G29, G07, G05

Yellow: E15, Y38, Y35, Y11

Sunday with Ginger Boy Banner

Happy Sunday!

Welcome to our Sunday post with High Hopes Rubber Stamps. Today I'm playing with the adorably cute Ginger Boy Banner. It was fun to experiment with colors on this one and in the end, I love how his bright green trousers pair with the softer blues in the banner. The sentiment used here is Gingerbread Dreams.
