Glowing Spirit Snowy

Happy Sunday!

It's Christmas in July at High Hopes Stamps! This whole month we are showing you our inspiration for the one time every year you're going to need a lot of cards :)
Today I am starting with a shaped base card. I like those cards, they give it just that bit extra I think..
It's made with a die from CreaLies, but you can use any die for this..

I've coloured up Glowing Spirit Snowy, and die-cut a stiched rectangle with a Uniquely Creative die. I've added the paper stars, wich I made with a JoyCrafts die.
Behind the image, I've placed 2 doilies. And at last I've also added some pearls from Pretty Pink Posh.

Woodland Santa Christmas

My family and I are literally celebrating Christmas in July on July 25th. It is cheaper for my family from out of the province to come in during the summer so a July celebration it is.
I have some family members who love the outdoors and I think "Woodland Santa" is perfect for one of their Christmas cards.
The High Hopes and One Crazy Stamper design teams will be bringing you Christmas in July for the month - perfect timing for me as I now need to get a ton of Christmas cards done - yikes!

After colouring my Santa with alcohol markers and Prisma pencils I hand fussy cut him and ran a black marker around the edge to get any white I had missed. He was set aside and the patterned papers from Bo Bunny and Carta Bella were cut to fit my design. White card stock was perfect for my snow banks and snow flakes and a pine tree die gave me the perfect size for my tree detail.
Some twine and matte dots finish off my card.

Heard the news...

Happy Sunday!

Today is the last Sunday of June and that means the last of my 5 birthday cards from this month..
I came across this cute Newspaper Boy in my stash and it's a great stamp for a boy's birthday!
The sentiment is made (simply) in Word and added to a black stripe of cardstock, before glued all together on the card.
I had some fun star paperclips in my stash as well, and they fit perfectly with my colours!

On the inside I added the same dessinpaper and the rest of the sentiment..

To make this card, I've used:
*High Hopes Rubber Stamps: Newspaper boy
*Bazzill Basics: kraft and black cardstock
*dessinpapers from stash
*paperclip stars from stash
*other: Pergaglue, Copic paper, black ink, Copics used:

Party Girl

Party Girl Florence is on her way to be the life of the party!
I need a lot of Birthday cards in July and I think this one will be perfect for one of my young adult nieces don't you? Florence just makes me giggle with her party balloons and of course she had to make sure to wear a touch of bling!

I coloured Florence with alcohol markers and cut her out using a classic square die in a diamond shape. I found a fun patterned paper combo using two different 6 x 6 pads from Photo Play and cut them to fit the size of my card. You can't see it well in the photo but I added some sparkle to the balloons with a sparkle pen and her necklace is blinged up with Stickles.
I stamped the sentiment twice so it could be seen on both sides of the diamond shape. Some matching glittery ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.

Party Cow

Howdy - MichelleO here today and this week I found another fun image from my High Hopes Stamps stash of favorites. This week I colored up Party Cow

Now after having some fun with Pig Party last week - I just couldn't resist Party Cow this week. Now I use this dancing cow more than some others... he just makes me wanna turn on some music and dance! And how can you now enjoy a dancing cow? And this one boogies down. I colored with Copics (colors below) and then found the High Hopes Stamps sentiment "Don't stop the music". I kept things a little simple, just a black card stock base, and one pattern paper from Paper Studios Petals and Blooms collection. I used my sewing machine and attached the image with a zig zag stitch.

I played with flowers and well..... just didn't feel it. Now why I went with lots of dots of Viva Decor Paint I have no idea. A little confetti maybe? But I was just feeling the music and went with some crazy fun I suppose. Fun image that can be used for a birthday or just perk me up card. I just love this dancing cow!

Copic colors used -

I hope you had a little dancing fun with him as well and he brought a smile.
