Introducing..... Laurie Furnell!!!

Wooo Hoo!! Fall is almost here! It's my personal favorite time of year, when the leaves start changing colors, there is frost on the gardens, and just a nip of coolness in the air. I love the smell of all the fire places burning in the mornings and evenings to warm the homes in our neighborhood, and the excitement of the kiddies getting back in school! I love canning all the great fruits and veggies grown locally, making apple sauce to preserve, freezing peaches, and canning salsa... not to mention making tons of loaves of Zucchini bread to freeze... oh... the smell of it baking!

This fall we have some great excitement to share... as we are Welcoming artist Laurie Furnell to the High Hopes family. This is our own special Treat that we get to share with our stamping friends as we have the first "fall harvest" of Laurie images available in stamps to be released on September 1st. Oh my goodness, if you are not familiar with her art, you are in for the biggest treat, as her style is an amazing mix of cute, funky, sweet, quirky, whimsical, country, and folk. Check out Laurie's bio so you can "meet" her yourself!

Laurie is totally amazing, and a perfect match for our High Hopes style, with artist Dustin Pike. It's so nice working with folks who's warmth, sense of humor, and genuinely kind personalities shine through in all they do! We feel very blessed to be able to share these amazing artists and their love of art with you in rubber!

I am so excited, I cannot tell you how much fun our Diva's have been having with the images in this new release! You will have to join in on the blog hops to see all the wonderful creations, and get a chance at winning some of the new images for your own collection!

I live in London Ontario Canada with my hubby and our 3 little Yorkie dogs. I have loved all sorts of crafts since I was a little girl. For the last several years I have been enjoying cardmaking and scrapbooking. I love colouring with Tombow Markers, Distress Inks, and Copic Markers. I adore High Hopes Stamps and am thrilled to be a Guest Designer.

I was born in Indianapolis, IN and have lived in Indiana all my life. I currently live in Carmel which is a suburb of Indianapolis. Before we tell you about today's challenge we would like to say a HUGE thank to our guests Sarah and Debby for all the wonderful work they created during their time with us. We do have some sad news though in that Danielle has left the team :-( Her work life has taken on some dramatic changes which will leave her with less creative time. We will miss you Danielle! Ok... now to get you smiling again.... Debby will be staying with us as a full time Diva :-)
