Good Clean Fun!

Howdy - MichelleO here today and I have another fun favorite image from High Hopes Stamps. Good Clean Fun! That is! How can you not just adore pigs in a bubble bath?

So cute - I used a piece of paper from my stash from The Girl's Paperie - Jubilee collection. Some pink card stock for a base and then a border punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. I sewed down things with my sewing machine. The sentiment is a High Hopes favorite of mine "Hog Wash!" Then just because you know I had too, I added lots of Rangers Stickles for all those bubbles!

Close up!

Spring Is In the Air!

Good day HH Fans!!
Spring is around the corner and for me that means "Spring Cleaning" When I saw this stamp from High Hopes I knew it would make the perfect "Spring Cleaning" themed card. This is the adorable "Tidy Up Tillie"!
I chose paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 collection and finished it off with some Doodlebug Enamel Dots! The sentiment is called "Spring Is In the Air" also by High Hopes! I decided this time to make my own card base with matching pink cardstock. The image and heart border are popped up with foam tape for extra dimension.
Here's my decorated inside with a sentiment I printed on my computer to match my theme!

Watercolor Birthday Card!

Welcome back crafty friends!
Happy to be back with a watercolor birthday card inspiration today.

I stamped *Cherry Chip Chimp with Versa-Mark and heat emboss with black embossing powder. To coloured I used various ink pads and my Wink Stella pen. After the image was all done I fussy cut it and used some Glossy Accent. The paper is *Little Boys And Their Toys from ThePaperStudios. To finish I added a few dots with *Dandellon Yellow NUVO Crystal Drops.

Here is how the inside looks!
I LOVE decorating the inside of my cards. For the inside I used the same pattern paper and stamped one of my favorites sentiment called *Happy Birthday Script  from High Hopes Stamps

You're Purrr-ty Tweet....

Welcome OCS Fans;

February is almost over, and it seems very spring like with all the rain we have had lately.  It seems a lot of the snow has been washed away.

Today's card can also be used for Valentine's -- next year maybe or just because......

I have used the adorable Purrr-ty Tweet Kitty from High Hopes Stamps to create a CAS card.  I coloured the image with Copic Markers.  Used the Spellbinders Square Hearts to mount it on and added some Nuvo Glitter Drops in the corners.

Heidi & Mattie

Hi HH Fans!
I'm a big dog fan and have had a dog in my life for as long as I can remember! I think it's wonderful to have pets especially when you have children as the two become best friends! I am using the High Hopes stamp called "Heidi & Mattie". Don't these two look like they are the best of friends?!!
I coloured Mattie up adding some grey spots to her with my Copic Markers. My paper this time is from the Echo Park Just Be You 6x6 collection. I decided to paper piece Heidi's overalls for a fun element! The sentiment "Best Friends Forever" is also from High Hopes and goes perfectly with this image!
Here's an inside view of my card. The sentiment is part of the "Best Friends Forever" stamp. I masked off the stamp and used part of it on the front and the other part on the inside of my card. It's fun to do different things with your sentiments!

American Cowthic

Howdy - MichelleO here today and I am having so much fun pulling out some of my older favorite High Hopes Stamps. The stamp I used this week just always makes me giggle a bit...

American Cowthic - Love it!

Seriously isn't it just one great image?? Love this cow couple! I colored with my copics (colors below) and then found a piece of bandana paper in my scraps. Seemed perfect to me. Matted on black card stock and then on a white card stock base. I sewed all the layers down and then added some Viva Decor Black Paper pen for some "dots" on the corners. Simple but it makes me happy..

Only three days left to make or buy your loved ones a Valentines gift!!
I made this gift tag that will go on some nice flowers (won't tell you who is going to get them, it's a surprise of course..).
For this gift tag I've used Monkey Romance

Base of the tag is Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I used a MFT label die to cute out the tag.
Also from MFT are the heart dies. Dessinpapers are from my stash, really no idea wich company.
The alphabet die is from Marianne Design. I added some matching ribbons and voila!

...You're The Tricera - "TOPS"...

Welcome back OCS fans;

February is generally know as the month of love and romance and the history of Valentine's Day goes back as far as the middle ages.

So in keeping with this month's "Anything Goes" theme I have used an older High Hopes Stamps, that can be used for Valentine's Day or not.  I stamped this cute Tricera-Tops Dino with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured him with copic markers.

Hockey Penguin Valentine??

Yes folks, you read that right - my post today features a hockey playing penguin for a Valentine's Day card.
I have a number of friends who's spouses love hockey. They live and breath it, the TV is always on a game when there is one on and don't touch the remote!

So I got to thinking.......if I had a spouse who loved hockey - what kind of Valentine's Day card could I make that would get his attention.....and voila! A non-traditional hockey playing penguin.....why not!? and of course the perfect play on words sentiment to match <wink>

I found some Valentine feel papers in my vast array of paper and coloured my stamp to match. I added some twine, a wood heart coloured to match and some black gumdrops. It is a more simple layout but I think has a masculine touch to it and the heart and heart paper count for Valentine's Day right?

Card Recipe
Stamp: Penguin's Pastime - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Ice For You - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: True Love - Reverse Confetti
Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Misti, stitched square die - Your Next Stamp, twine, wood heart - the Stockade, black gumdrops - Your Next Stamp

Spectrum Noir Markers: IBG5 BG7 BG10 IG2 IG3 IG5 MB1 MB3 MB4 AP1 AP3 AP2 GY1 GY3 B02 YG1 YG2 YG3 VB1 VB2

Froggy Gift

Howdy - MichelleO here again today and if you ask me what was the first High Hopes Stamp  you purchased.... I ordered a few in my very first order many many years ago. This was in that first order and is one of my all time favorites. I just adore it! Always makes me smile and it is the PERFECT Valentine image!

Froggy Gift

Fabulous right? I just giggle when I pull this one out to work with it.  I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then I went to pull papers I happened to have a scrap from My Minds Eye and it just looked too good to not use it. I also decided to keep it as a CAS Clean and Simple card. Normally I stack up lots of layers with it, and it just felt right as a CAS today. I used a zig zag stitch and attached it all to a kraft card stock base. Three small buttons in the corner and just felt good. I don't say that too often when doing a CAS card.

Copics used -

Just a perfect card for that special someone on Valentines day. It kind of reminds me of one of those images from a Valentine when I was a kid. Now that would be called a Vintage Valentine... Not quite an antique yet.

Hope you got a smile from it too!
