Zoe's Purrfect Day

I have a few cat lovers in my life who sometimes need a pick me up card sent just so they know I am thinking of them.

Miss Zoe and her cute kitten are perfect for this type of card!

After colouring my stamp with alcohol markers, I hand fussy cut it leaving a thin white border. I added it to the matching card stock and cut around the stamp again. I decided to use some patterned paper that had kind of a country feel to it, I thought it was perfect for this card. The sentiment was stamped directly on to the patterned paper - love my Misti! and some matching gumdrops finish off my card.

Miss Liberty and Belle

Howdy - MichelleO here today - This week for High Hopes Stamps I was looking through my boxes of High Hopes Stamps.. yes. I love my High Hopes Stamps and have more than a few.... LOL. I found one stamp that I realized I had never inked before. Insert Shocked Face here! How did I ever not ink this pretty little girl? And now is the perfect time to get those 4th of July cards made.

This is Miss Liberty and Belle -

Isn't she just the most little patriotic gal you have ever seen? I colored with my Copics (colors below). I used a scrap of the red dot I used last week, with a Blue Core'dinations cardstock. I punched out a loop punch from Martha Stewart for a border.

The sentiment is also a High Hopes Stamp - "God Bless America" Love this sentiment! Then I added a few sparkle enamel dots for a bit of bling.

Copic colors used -

I hope you enjoyed my little patriotic card -

Happy Sunday!!

It's a LOVEly day here in the Netherlands today!!
So for today's card I've used the Rubbing Nosies stamp. It is such an adorable stamp!!
I wanted to keep this card simple, so I've chosen 2 black and white dessinpapers to match the skunks and added a touch of pink for the sweet pink bow on this stamp..

I made the oval with a MFT die and the LOVE letters are also from MFT.
The little flowers are made with a Marianne Design die.

Added some gems to finish it all..

Home Tweet Home

It seems like Spring has finally arrived! One of my favourite things about Spring is when the birds come back into the neighbourhood.
I have a tree in one of my flower beds that often becomes the home for a nest and some baby birds. It is fun to watch the Mom feed to the babies and to watch the babies as they learn to fly.

The Fancy Birdhouse 1 stamp reminded me of this fun part of Spring and I added the Landing Birdie as she seems to be coming home.

I coloured the stamps with alcohol markers and hand fussy cut them. Next I cut my doily and circle and added some clouds using a cloud die, dauber and ink. Then it was on to my computer to create my sentiment, print it and cut it out using the matching circle and doily dies. Some ribbon and gumdrops finish off my card.

Tropical Santa!

Hello HH Fans!
Everybody deserves a little R&R especially Santa after a busy Christmas season! "Tropical Santa" from High Hopes is doing just that! I think he's even got a bit of a tan!
I decided to use paper from the American Crafts "Sunny" 6x6 collection. I got my Sketch idea from "Lili of the Valley Sketches". There are lots of wonderful 6x6 sketches over there to choose from. I added the HH "Just Arrived" sentiment to show that "Tropical Santa" just arrived for his much needed vacation.
On the inside I created the sentiment on my computer. I am using a Ring Frame die on the inside with more of the Designer Papers. I used some of the circle cutout on the front of my card. I always try to use up my "scraps" when I can!

Copics Used:
Skin: E11, E33, E51, R20
Hair: N1, N3, N4, N7

Last weeks Mothers day

Happy Sunday!!

Today I'd like to show you the card I gave my mother last week for Mothers Day.
This image is easily to use for so many occasions! Not only for Mothers Day, but if you add your own sentiment to it, it can be a birthday card, a graduation card, a card for a new home... you name it!!
The image is called Terri's Flower Cart.

I wanted to give this card a rustic look by adding some ribbons, twine and a bunch of paper flowers. The little wooden heart is my finishing touch.
The sentiment is a Dutch one and it says: Happy Mothers day!

I created a  twig style wreath and set the Spring image inside.  Used a burlap style ribbon
with a fun carrot print and some tiny yellow flowers too. The image is coloured with Copic Markers and the background paper has a rustic wood look which I though went well with the image.

Danni Dress Up from High Hopes Rubber Stamps sure brought back some fun childhood memories!

Leapin' Larry - Hoppy Birthday

Howdy - MichelleO here today and this week for High Hopes Stamps I pulled out an older favorite for a great fun Birthday card - This is Leapin' Larry... isn't he an energetic little guy?

Wish I had that jump in me! I colored with my Copics (colors below) Then I cut Larry out with a Whimsy Stitched Oval Die. Then for the sentiment the perfect for Larry "Open Hoppy Birthday" that I colored with the same copics. Green card stock for the base and then two pieces of pattern paper from Making Memories.

For a little added fun I cut out Larry's arm from the paper and popped it up above the sentiment, like he is sort of waving. Hi Larry!

Copic colors used -

I've used the cute Singing Katrina and the Birthday Wishes sentiment.

Dessinpapers are from my stash (really, really old ones, I can't even tell wich company).
Together with the purple cardstock from Bazzill to go along.
