Camp Fire Fun

I love camp fires and the cool nights of fall are my favourite time to put on a sweater and sit around a camp fire.
My brother is the master of fires in our family and prides himself on building and creating the biggest one the space we are in allows. They are not the kind of fire that you are able to toast marshmallows on until they have burned for a couple of hours so these adorable friends from High Hopes would have to wait a bit to do their toasting on one of my brother's fires.

After colouring these cuties with alcohol markers, I hand fussy cut them and set them aside. I mixed and matched patterned paper from four different paper pads to create my design. Some brads from my stash and a few leaf die cuts finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp:Toasting Marshmallows - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Take a Hike - Bo Bunny, Hello Fall, I Love Family and Gone Camping - Echo Park

Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Hammermill digital cover stock, brads - stash, mini leaves die - YNS, tree die - Memory Box

Spectrum Noir Markers:BY3 GB3 B03 MB3 CG1 DG2 YG3 BG5 BG7 BG10 TN1 CG3 CG4 JG5 CT1 CT4 GY4

Chef Pierre

Howdy - MichelleO here today - and for High Hopes Stamps I was feeling a bit hungry, and Chef Pierre came with a yummy Turkey for Thanksgiving. He is such a good Chef!

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then I cut him out with a small border. I found some pattern papers from in my stash of scraps. Loved the french feel of them, and I think Pierre would have his kitchen decorated with the same patterns. All the layers are sewn down. The sentiment "Happy Thanksgiving" is such a fun font from High Hopes Stamps. Then a corner die cut flourish from Spellbinders in the bottom corner.

Chef Pierre is such a great fun image to have fun with!

He makes me smile - I hope he did you as well. To see all the fun wonderful images at High Hopes Stamps click HERE

Harvest Time!

Howdy HH Peeps!
Over on the High Hopes Blog it's all about Fall! When I hear Fall, I think of a Fall Harvest, a time of fresh veggies and hay. I know Farmers harvest during the summer too, but there is something about seeing the fields come alive with workers that lets you know Fall is here. "Farmer Clem" from High Hopes is ready to get to work in his gardens and bring the bounty of Fall to you!

After stamping "Farmer Clem" onto Copic Friendly paper, I coloured him up with my Copic Sketch Markers. I fussy cut him out using my Brother Cut N Scan. Next I created the background using papers from the Doodlebug "Happy Harvest" 6x6 collection. I created the word "Fall" using Alphabet Dies and some adhesive foam. The card size is 6 x 5.5", a bit different but worked for my card LOL. I tucked "Farmer Clem" behind the last L, added some burlap ribbon and a bow and my card was one.
Here you can see the dimension to the word "Fall". I cut 2 adhesive foam letters and 1 letter from designer paper. Then I glued them all together to get the nice thick letters. Even "Farmer Clem" is popped up with some foam squares.
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair & Boots: C4, C5, C7, C9
Outfit: YG61, YG63, YG67 / YR15, YR16, YR18 / R35, R37, R39
Hat: E31, E33, E34, E35
Pitch Fork: E23, E25, E27, silver Wink of Stella

Fall Pumpkin Patch

Fall is just around the corner and that means the pumpkin patches will soon be open to pick the perfect pumpkin or pumpkins for your fall decor, Halloween or baking your favourite fall treat...pumpkin pie - yum!

"Pumpkin Patch" from High Hopes reminds me of the fun days ahead.

I coloured this fun stamp with alcohol markers and Prisma pencils for some shading. I originally cut this out with rectangle die......but I messed up the clouds so........fussy cutting it was! The background is created with some inked clouds and a grass tuft die and the stamp is glued on top. The sentiment is masked off from a larger sentiment and all the edges were inked with versa mark ink.  I kept the design of this one a little more simple to keep the focus on this gorgeous stamp. Paper from Simple Stories and Echo Park were perfect for a bit of a country feel. Some enamel dots and ribbon are the finishing touches.

Card Recipe
Stamp:Pumpkin Patch - High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Wilson's Honey Farm

Howdy - MichelleO here and this week for High Hopes Stamps I took a dive into some yummy honey. This is Wilson's Honey Farm... love the delicious end of summer goodness of this one!

Such a wonderful image for many subjects, but when paired up with the High Hopes Stamps sentiment "Have a Honey of a day!" Just a friendly card to bring a smile or could be a "sweet" birthday card!

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then added some pencils for shadows and layers. Then I added some Nuvo Clear for that gorgeous glass honey jar, and then Nuvo sparkle for the bee's wings.

Dark brown card stock for the base, then deep yellow core-dinations card stock for a mat and a old piece of pattern paper from Senic Route all zig zag stitched down. Then the same brown card stock for a mat on the image sewed together. A simple gingham brown and white ribbon around and tied for a bow embellishment. That sentiment is punched out with an EK Success ticket punch and then matted yellow card stock punch mat.

Copic colors used -

Love the Fall season and all the warm colors! And High Hopes Stamps has SO MANY fun and wonderful images to play with this time of year! Pop over to the website store HERE and see all fabulous images!

Thanks!
