Mary Angel!

Happy Tuesday!
I hope my post today finds you all well in these difficult days! I thought I'd pop in with a cutie to help brighten your day! Meet the adorable "Mary Angel" from High Hopes Stamps! Isn't she just having the best time splashing in the puddles! Mary Angel reminds me of my daughters when they were little and loved to play in the rain!
I chose papers today from an older Echo Park collection called "Spring". I thought the umbrella papers went perfectly with this image. I coloured my image with my Copic markers and then paper pieced Mary's coat and umbrella. It's hard to see but the puddle, splashes and Mary's wings all have clear glitter pen added to them for a bit of sparkle! I added some clear dewdrops (gems) to the cut out image to look like rain drops.
I decorated the inside of my card and then added the "Play In The Puddles" sentiment also from High Hopes Stamps.
Copics Used:
Skin: R00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: Y00, Y23, YR12
Pants & Hat: BG13, BG34, BG32
Boots: Y21, Y23
Puddles & Wings: BG0000, BG000, BG10

Nurse Elizabeth Jo

Howdy - MichelleO here today and this week for High Hopes Stamps I have colored up a little Get Well Soon card. I am sure we all need a few of those for our stash. And there is none better to wish a little Get Well images as "Nurse Elizabeth Jo"

A sweet little nurse like this is sure to make you feel better! I colored with my Copics and did a little high lighting and shading with pencils. Then cut her out with a small border around her. I found papers from October Afternoon that were bright and cheerful and sewed them down with my sewing machine. The sentiment Get Well Soon... is called "Calling the Doctor" from High Hopes Stamps is perfect for this nurse.

Three red buttons for a little embellishment and I think it is a happy colorful Get Well Card. Hopefully to cheer up someone not feeling so well.

Copic colors used.

Sharing some Easter Love!

Good morning HH fans!

Today I have this lovely card from Shawna D. out in British Columbia Canada to share with all of you.  Shawna lives in a Senior Care home & loves to make cards with our images.  Shawna creates adorable cards to give to friends & fellow residents, she also sells a few of her cards to help with her expenses.  Oh and she donates cards too, how awesome is that?!!!

I featured 4 of Shawna's cards over on our Facebook Page a few days ago but wanted to share this cutie on a special blog post today.

Now more than ever we need to band together and share as much love to one another as we can.  Shawna is certainly doing her part!

Whether you bring groceries to a neighbor or even give someone a call just to say hello it brightens someone's day.  Finding a new normal is what we all have to do during this very troubling time.

Please feel free to share your creations with us, we love to see them.  Tell us what makes you feel happy or how you made someone's day.  We want to hear your story!

For this adorable card Shawna used Bunny Blooms personally one of my favorite images.

We do have a 20% Discount running now on Store Wide.  We are a small rubber stamp company but we will try to keep this discount running as long as we can.  We want people to share & be creative it helps us all feel better.  Use Coupon Code LOVE at checkout.

A Good Friend

"Leon" is out on his branch absorbing some much needed sun! He is well hidden but if you look through the tree branches you just may be able to spot him <smile>.
He is meeting his neighbours from his favourite branch and waving and smiling as they come out into the sun themselves.
Leon is perfect to add to my just because, thinking of you stash - a stash that I will keep adding to as I send out love, hugs and hopefully smiles to my friends and family while we can't be together.

I coloured friendly Leon with Copics and added a bit of shading with Prismacolor pencils. A cloud die and ink were perfect for adding some clouds around him.
I wanted it to look like you were looking through tree branches to see him so I took a branch die and cut it out multiple times. I cut some "extra" leaves and added them to each die to make the leaves seem thicker. I also didn't glue them all down flat to help add some dimension.
Some ribbon and gumdrops finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Leon - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment - Easy To Spot - High Hopes Rubber Stamps

Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Hammermill digital cover stock, circle die - Kat Scrapiness, ribbon - stash, cloud die - Quickutz, Baby Blue ink - Memories Ink, branch/leaves - Leaf Foliage Set 1 - Whimsy Stamps, enamel dots - Gina Marie Designs

Carrot Express!!!

It’s Wednesday, and Easter is quickly approaching. So for this week, I used Carrot Express - S055 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the main image and Canadian Easter Greetings - H139 (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment.

SAVE 20% STORE WIDE right now use coupon code LOVE at checkout!

To put this card together, I first die-cut some Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using my Cuttlebug and My Creative Time -Stitched Squares Inside and Out. Next, I stamped the image with Memento - Tuxedo Black ink using my MISTI to get a nice clean image. I put the die-cut back over the image again and used it for a template to get a nice clean white border. I created a mask out of the image and used the die-cut from Avery Elle - Custom Steel Dies - Made in the USA - D-05-01 PiercedCloudsDie and Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Salty Ocean to create the sky background.

I mounted the plaid paper from Recollections - Easter Paper onto a white card base of 5.5" x 4.25"and then edged around the image and card with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and embossed the sentiment using Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Wilted Violet and VersaMark.

Lastly, I popped up the image onto the card using 3M - VHB 2-sided tape and added in some enamel dots.

Chicks With Hat-itude!

Happy Tuesday!
Thanks for popping in today to see my Tuesday post for High Hopes Stamps. Meet the adorable trio called "Gertie, Millie & Hattie". These cuties remind me of my peeps and the day we tried on Halloween hats LOL. The HH Sentiment called "Hat-itude" goes perfectly with these besties!
Lots of layers on my cards today using papers the Doodlebug French Kiss 6x6 collection and some matching cardstock. I tried to colour these ducks to match the papers with my Copic Sketch Markers. I used my Brother Cut N Scan to cut the image out and then popped it up with some foam tape. It's hard to see in the picture but each of the hats have Glitter Pen on the flowers and ribbons for a soft glittery look. A big hot pink bow and some heart shaped enamel dots finish off my card.

Wingin' It Duck!

Howdy - MichelleO here today and yesterday I decided to color up a little happiness and a smile. And High Hopes Stamps "Wingin' It Duck" was just the smile needed!

Seriously how can you not smile at a duck doing a cartwheel? I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then added the sentiment from High Hopes Stamps "You Quack Me Up!" I  cut it out and then did a little faux mat with my Copic marker around the edge. A few enamel dots in the bottom corner for added fun and some crazy zig zag stitch around the edge onto a piece of Paper Studios Dotted Barn wood paper.

Simple but does bring a smile -

Lovely Lucy Goosey

Good morning friends,
Hope you and family are doing well during these tough times!

I made this card using "Lovely Lucy Goosey" and the sentiment "Waddle I Do" both images from highhopesstamps.com

After I stamped the image with Memento black ink I colored with Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut it leaving a small white border. Used a few of my dies, pink ribbon bow and some gold sequins to embellish the front of the card. I added some foam tape to "Lovely Lucy Goosey" to give more dimension.

Here is the inside!
To finish my card I used the same pattern paper. I stamped one more image and adhesive in the inside... Love it! I hope you enjoyed this fun card today.

Easter Bunny Greetings

Easter is just around the corner so I'm hopping in with this adorable "Bunny Stack" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps.
I don't often get my Easter cards sent or given out - I always forget to take them!, but I think this year may be the year that happens.
These guys just make me smile and I would love to see the smile that this cute stack of bunnies I hope would bring to someone else.

After colouring these cuties with alcohol markers I hand fussy cut them out leaving a thin white edge. I found some patterned paper from Stampin' Up for my background and added some matching card stock which I ran through an embossing folder. I decided to keep the card simple this week and stamped and coloured the image and then fussy cut around it. I layered all of the layers, except for the base with 3M VHB - 2 sided tape. I edged around all of the die cuts with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Picked Rasberry. To finish off the card I added in a few hearts. The card base is 4.25" x 5.5".

Birdies & Eagles!

Fore!!!
That's what you'd be hearing if it was me out on the golf course "fore" (look out) LOL. My golf balls would be flying everywhere. Luckily "Golfer Rudy" from High Hopes Stamps has his game in check! I mean look at that form!
Golfer Rudy is a bit on the bigger size (4.75x3) so I decided to try out the "Slim Line" card base. I've been seeing this card size 8.5 x 3.5" a lot on Facebook and thought it would be perfect for Rudy! I stamped and coloured the image with my Copic markers and then fussy cut him out using some scissors. Since I only have papers in 6x6, I had to be creative with this taller card size. I decided to use papers from the Honey Bee "Great Outdoors" 6x6 collection and used a rectangle block pattern. It's hard to see on the card but I tried to make a tee with a small white pom pom on it to resemble a golf ball. I love that sentiment called "Funny Golf Saying", it just makes me giggle! Rudy is popped up with foam squares for added dimension.
Copics Used:
Skin: E01, E11, E21, R20
Hair: E37, E39
Top: BG13, BG32, BG34
Pants & Hat: B95, B97, B99
Shoes: N3, N5, N6
