Stamped and colored my image with alcohol markers. The pattern paper is a 12X12 pad called "Christmas Plaids" Added Diamond stickles and glossy accent to decorated my main panel. Winter Birthday Wishes

The High Hopes design team has been busy sharing Christmas cards over the last number of weeks. This week I am going to shake things up a little! "Polar Bear Family" is from the new Christmas Release and perfect for Christmas cards but also for winter Birthday cards!
I love when I can use a stamp for multiple occasions!

I coloured up this cute family with alcohol markers and Prismacolor pencils. After the Stickles on their hats dried I hand fussy cut them using a thin white edge. I set them aside and went through my paper stash - yes it is huge and I need an intervention - to find the perfect papers. A new patterned paper pad from Echo Park fit the bill.
I chose my card stock and after cutting a piece to fit the space I used a circle die to cut a hole in it and ran through a snowflake embossing folder to add some texture. I made this card at a crafty friend of mine's place and sadly forgot to write down the name of the folder. I popped the stamp up with foam dots and some matching enamel dots finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp:Polar Bear Family - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Dot Simple Happy Birthday - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: My Favourite Winter - Echo Park
Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Hammermill digital cover stock, Star Dust Stickles, 3D Foam pop dots - Forever In Time, enamel dots - Echo Park

Spectrum Noir Markers: TN1 EB1
Copics: B00 BG01 BG05 BO2 B04 B06 R20
Prismacolor Pencils: deco pink, blush pink

Gingerbread Dreams!

It’s Wednesday, and this month at High Hopes Rubber Stamps we are celebrating Christmas. YAY!!!  This week, I used Gingerbread House (S159) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) and Gingerbread Dreams (E061) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps) for the sentiment.

To make this card I stamped the Gingerbread House image onto Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card using Memento - Tuxedo Black ink and my MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool in order to give me a nice crisp image. I coloured in the image with a little guidance from Kit and Clowder's Gingerbread house video created by Alyce. For the snow and candies, you can't see it in this photo, but I used Spectrum Noir - Crystal Clear Sparkles. Once I finished colouring in the image, I fussy cut around it. I also stamped out the sentiment and fussy cut around that as well.

Next I used the Gingerbread Chain punch from Creative Memories to cut out my little gingerbread men and then used Gelly Roll Sakura #10 Pen to create the icing and a dab of Copic Marker #29 for the cheeks.

For the assembly of the card, I used 6" x 6" AC Autumn Cardstock for the base. I had a piece of Hot Buy Craft Smart - Holiday Glitz Glitter Paper from a previous project that I had worked on and layered this on top of the Gingerbread men paper from Doodlebug Design Inc. - Milk and Cookies.
Lastly I used 3M VHB - 2 sided tape to pop up all of the images and sentiment. I added in the little red embellishments to represent the little gingerbreads dreaming of their wonderful gingerbread house. LOL!

Card Recipe:

Stamp: Gingerbread House (S159) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)

Sentiment: Gingerbread Dreams (E061) (High Hopes Rubber Stamps)

Inks: Memento - Tuxedo Black

Paper: Copic Marker X-Press It Blending Card, Hot Buy Craft Smart - Holiday Glitz Glitter Paper 12" x 12", AC Autumn Cardstock 12" x 12", Doodlebug Design Inc. - Milk and Cookies 6" x 6".

Tools: MISTI - Most Incredible Stamping Tool, Cuttlebug, Spectrum Noir - Sparkles - Crystal Clear, Gelly Roll Sakura #8 Pen, Creative Memories - Gingerbread Chain Border Maker Cartridge

Image coloured with Copic Markers:

Gingerbread House: E37, E35, E33, E31, Y21

Icing and Snow: BV31, BV1, BV000

Red: R29, R27, R24, R22

Oh Deer!

Happy Tuesday!
I love Tuesday's because I get to share my High Hopes Rubber Stamp cards! Today's card is using the adorable "North Pole Reindeer" From the HH Christmas 1 Release!
I stamped this adorable reindeer on a die cut from the CDD Banner set and then coloured him up using my Copic Markers. I added some Stampendous Spoonful of Snow on the ground, pole and sign for a fun wintery look. I decided to use papers from the Photoplay "Kringle & Co." 6x6 collection. I thought the red and black combo was a nice alternative to traditional Christmas colours. A bit of twine, double bows and some snowflake gems finish off my card today! The snowflakes are sparkly clear plastic and just wouldn't focus for my camera if the reindeer was to be in focus, sorry for that but they are really pretty!
On my decorated inside I used the High Hopes "Oh Deer" sentiment. It just goes perfect with this image!
Copics Used:
Reindeer: E30, E31, E33, E34, E37/ W1. W3, W5/ R01 and Xmas Red Stickles
Pole & Scarf: R24, R27, R29, N5, N6, N8, Gold Wink of Stella
Outline Shadow: T0, T1

Thanks for popping in today!
Happy Stamping!

Goliath Christmas Mouse

Howdy - MichelleO here today, how adorable is a little mouse in a Santa Suit? This is High Hopes Stamps "Goliath Christmas Mouse"  Too cute!

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then cut out with a circle Die Cut and then a scalloped Die as a mat. The Pattern paper is hard to see, but has a glitter to all the candy canes, its from Fiskars.
I added a red dot ribbon around the bottom as a band with a pretty bow. Man it is hard to see in the photo but it is pretty on the card. The sentiment is so fun! "Santa... I tried!" from High Hopes Stamps. Another Clean and Simple card that makes me smile.

Flying Christmas Wishes

I'm flying in with some Merry Christmas wishes with "Flying Gnome" from the New Christmas release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps.
I fell in love with this stamp when I saw it! I love cardinals and I love gnomes so this stamp is the perfect combo for a high flying Christmas card!

I coloured up this high flying duo with alcohol markers and hand fussy cut the stamp. I questioned my sanity when I had to cut around the holly and berries and caught myself holding my breath a few times but it came out okay.
When I saw the Warm and Cozy paper pad from Echo Park I knew this paper would be perfect for this stamp. I added a "tree line" with a pine tree stamp from my stash to add some depth to my card. I thought the scripty Merry Christmas sentiment was perfect for this high flying duo. A few holly leaves, ribbon and gumdrops finish off my card.

Downhill Snowy

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Can you believe we're already at the last Sunday in November? I'm sure most of the ski hills have started to open already and Snowy's ready to hit the slopes!

I'm feeling very non-traditional these days. Too much read and blue, so I reached for my happy pinks and blues this time and colored Downhill Snowy in some hip and stylish snow gear! Check out the great Snow All Day sentiment, which pairs perfect with this snowy image.

It's Cozy Season

We have had a couple blasts of winter where I live. Not just cold temperatures but some snow as well. As I type this, we are back to green grass but from the weather forecast that won't be for long.
I have to be honest, winter is not my favourite season but like this adorable "Winter Owl" I do have to go out and about in the snow. I can tell you I know I don't look as cute as he does all bundled up in his hat and scarf!

After colouring this cutie with alcohol markers, I cut him out using a circle die. I added some Stickles to his hat and to the ice and snow on the branch. I chose patterned paper in blues from Echo Park as I thought they helped with the "cold" feeling for my card. Some glitter paper icicles, matching sparkly ribbon and gumdrops finish off my card.

Card Recipe
Stamp:Winter Owl- High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Cozy Season - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: Snow Much Fun - Echo Park
