I went on a little craft shopping trip with my partner in crime this past Saturday.  We popped by an awesome crafty garage sale & then went to one of our local scrapbook stores.  I have been itching for some new paper pads.  Well I thought I hit the jackpot when I seen the new Echo Park 6 x 6 pad called Happy as can Bee.  I totally love it!  We have a few stamps in our collection that I have been anxious to colour & make some cards with & this paper is perfect for them.

For today's card I'm using our Birds and Bees Frame.  This would also make a wonderful shaker card, I think I will try that next time.

I used a Honeycomb Whimsy die from my stash that I have had for years..still new in package.  Love it & it cuts out beautifully.

Today I'm sharing our adorable image called Cat Trio.  A week or so ago my Dad asked me to make him a card for his vet.  First off I can't believe my almost 81 year old Dad even remembered I made cards & secondly that he wanted to send someone a card.  My Dad grew up farming and animals are super important to him.  Dad is still living on his own, well I say living on his own I mean no other humans just him & his 4 cats.  Yep he has the Momma & her 3 babies.  Momma cat aka Heidi is 17 years old & her 3 (not so babies) are 16 years old.  My Dad loves his cats, I think more than his kids lol.  I was determined to have this card ready for him when he came over for Father's Day...and here it is.  Oh I forgot to mention only 3 cats need to visit the Vet...good thing because I didn't have an image with 4 cats lol.

I finally got my die cutter working...that took a minute, more like a couple of weeks lol.  I created the Thank You with an SVG file from Miss Kate's Cuttables, I love her stuff.  The only paper I had on hand was a super duper old pad from We R called Furever Friends.  I really need to add some cat & dog paper to my stash.

 Happy Saturday HH fans!

I wanted to finish the week off with some hugs & kisses.  I LOVE the ocean.  Well let me rephrase that a bit....I LOVE to look at the ocean and listen to it....I don't like to go in it.  I'm terrified of something touching my feet...sad I know but it's the truth.  I get so much peace just watching it.  I wished I lived closer to it, but sadly I don't.  We do have some beautiful lakes here in Ontario and those surely bring me joy as well, they just aren't the ocean.

For my last card this week I chose Mer-Cat.  This is one of our older images but I think she is just super cute.  Her little wave helped me pick the sentiment.   I used Get Well Wishes Script but I didn't use the entire sentiment, I just used the top half.  

This is my first time colouring a mermaid so go easy on me.  I need a little more practice for sure.

I remember way way back, in the good old days, watching my brother sitting on the dock at my Grandpas cottage with Ruffer (Grandpas dog) catching sunfish.  Dad would get mad that he was feeding all his worms to the sunfish but he sure did have a good time.  I liked to just hang out just watch the fish nibble at the fishing line oh & sunbathe of course lol.

I'm back today with a masculine card using our cool image called Golfer Rudy.

I think this guy is just so handsome & stylish, what do you think?

I couldn't find any golf related paper in my stacks of stash so I used some soccer paper.  I think it worked out pretty well.  I do that quite a bit...use paper for something it may not have been intended for.  Besides there are no rules when you are crafting, right!

I kept the front of the card generic with our Born To Golf sentiment.  I left the inside blank so I can add anything I like later.

How about some Ele fun today?!

Today I have another 2 card post for you all.  This is our adorable image called Ele-Fun.

I decided to give another go to the boy & girl version using this cutie.  I changed the layout a little for each of them.  Inside they both have the Happy Birthday Script sentiment, which by now you know I love lol.  I cut out the circles with a 1" & 3/4" punch and just off centered them a little.  When I cut out the blue patterned paper 3/4" circles the white core of the paper showed.  So I just went around the outside of each cut out with a blue marker to get rid of the white around the outside.  

I added a little sparkle to both the hat & the candle with some Stickles.
