Holiday Greetings from the North Pole

Hi All!

Oh where does the time go.  Another week has gone by and Friday is here again.  In keeping with High Hopes Stamps Christmas theme for this month, I have this adorable but tired NorthPole Reindeer.  He has done his job.  

After stamping the image on XPress It Blending Cardstock, it was coloured with copic markers.  Nuvo Glitter Drops - White Blizzard was added as sone.  Some snow crystals were added to the center of the mini snowflakes.  Twine and some Christmas embellishments finished off this CAS card.

Oh Deer!

I'm sneaking in with another Christmas card today. I feel like I won't ever get to the end of my "to do" list but "North Pole Reindeer" just had to be coloured and put on a card! 
I paired him with the "Oh Deer" sentiment because yikes - Christmas is just around the corner! and I used the "Gift Of" sentiment inside this fun card fold. 

I coloured the stamp with alcohol markers and added some liquid applique for the snow. After it dried I applied heat and it got nice and puffy and it adds some fun texture to the card. 
I measured, cut and scored the card stock and used some pretty snowflake paper from Carta Bella. Next I stamped the Oh Deer sentiment, added it to matching card stock and added it to the front piece of the card so it looks like a tab. After stamping the inside sentiment I added it to matching card stock and glued it down. A simple berry die cut, ribbon and enamel dots finish off my card.

Oh Deer!

Happy Tuesday!

I love Tuesday's because I get to share my High Hopes Rubber Stamp cards! Today's card is using the adorable "North Pole Reindeer" From the HH Christmas 1 Release!

I stamped this adorable reindeer on a die cut from the CDD Banner set and then coloured him up using my Copic Markers. I added some Stampendous Spoonful of Snow on the ground, pole and sign for a fun wintery look. I decided to use papers from the Photoplay "Kringle & Co." 6x6 collection. I thought the red and black combo was a nice alternative to traditional Christmas colours. A bit of twine, double bows and some snowflake gems finish off my card today! The snowflakes are sparkly clear plastic and just wouldn't focus for my camera if the reindeer was to be in focus, sorry for that but they are really pretty!

On my decorated inside I used the High Hopes "Oh Deer" sentiment. It just goes perfect with this image!

Greetings from the North Pole!

Hi Everyone!!

It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada & it's raining and quite chilly.  What better way to get a chilly wet weekend going than sit in your craft room and make a card before you head out the door for work.  Yep that's just what I did this morning!

This adorable image is called North Pole Reindeer from our new release at High Hopes Rubber Stamps.  I paired this cutie with the new sentiment North Pole Greetings of course lol.  This CAS card is kind of the style I will be going with for all my cards this holiday season.  I want to get as many cards done as I can this year....you know how life always gets in the way of our crafting time.  In the coming weeks you will notice that I have the Kraft colour on the brain for this years holiday season.  I have so many images coloured up and ready to make cards for this year & they all seem to fit the Kraft colour.  So stay tuned...there will be more to come....I promise lol!
